CCBH 2016 SEMI-ANNUAL REPORT City of North Olmsted Page 13 <br />SURFACE WATER QUALITY - RESIDENTIAL <br />Household Sewage Treatment Program responsibilities include the oversight of the <br />operation and maintenance of all sewage treatment systems, the inspection of new <br />system installations, system abandonments, review of proposed new lot -splits and <br />subdivisions, and the registration of septage haulers, installers and service providers. <br />Program staff are also very involved in county -wide stream monitoring activities, water <br />quality education and inter -agency collaborations. The CCBH provides technical <br />assistance to communities related to sanitary sewer feasibility by providing sewage <br />treatment system and water quality data. <br />Program.lnquiri.es.and Reslaanses.(in hours)*.......................8 <br />Inspections, Reinspections and .Complaints ........................2 <br />Sampling Analysis............................................5 <br />SURFACE WATER QUALITY - SEMIPUBLIC <br />Under the Semi -Public Sewage Treatment Program, our staff administers an <br />operation and maintenance inspection program for all sewage treatment facilities that <br />service businesses and other non-residential buildings and generate less than 25,000 <br />gallons of effluent per day. This includes inventory of designated storm sewer outfall locations, dry <br />weather inspections of outfall locations, collecting water quality samples of dry <br />weather flows, illicit discharge detection and source tracking for the elimination of the <br />illicit discharge, public educational outreach, and good housekeeping/pollution <br />prevention training programs for community employees. <br />Program.lnquiries.and Respanses.(in hours)*......................14 <br />
