Council Minutes of 11-01-2016 Councilwoman Williamson made a comment with her yes vote. I would like to thank Ganley for all the work they put into this and all the concessions they made in getting the plan to go forward. Thank you. The Building Zoning and Development Committee also met on October 25, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. Present were committee members Schumann, Barker and Williamson; Council members Brossard and Hemann; Mayor Kennedy; Planning Director Wenger; Safety Services Director Glauner and Director of Finance Copfer. • The legislation discussed was Ordinance 2016-16 an Ordinance amending various sections of Chapter Nine Fifty of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted titled "Urban Forest" for the purpose of (1) removing reference to the previously abolished Architectural Review Board; and (2) reassigning, when appropriate, duties previously assigned to the now -abolished board, and declaring an emergency. There was little discussion. We have updated the Code on several occasions this year to reflect the new reality of the no longer existing architectural review board. The vote was 3-0 to recommend to Council. AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION No comments. LEGISLATION Ordinance 2016-75 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading. An Ordinance providing for the amendment of the Zone Map of the City of North Olmsted by rezoning a portion of the split zoned property identified as Permanent Parcel No. 232- 34-016 and the entire property identified as Permanent Parcel No. 232-34-017 from Single Residence B to General Retail Business. Councilman Schumann moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Barker and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2016-75 adopted 7-0. Resolution 2016-93 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading. A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a one year contract with TAC Computer, Inc. in order to provide maintenance and repair services to computer hardware and software in the North Olmsted Police Department, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Barker moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Williamson and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2016-93 adopted 7-0. Resolution 2016-95 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading. A Resolution authorizing the Director of Planning & Development to negotiate the sale of city owned real property identified as PPN 234-12-052, vacant land located at 6652 Charles Road, and subject to review and approval by the Director of Law, authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with a purchaser, and further requiring that the net proceeds from the sale shall be directed into the Building and Land Acquisition and Improvement Fund. Councilman Schumann moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Barker and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2016-95 adopted 7- 0. .19
