Council Minutes of 11-01-2016 <br />Councilwoman Williamson made a comment with her yes vote. I would like to thank <br />Ganley for all the work they put into this and all the concessions they made in getting the <br />plan to go forward. Thank you. <br />The Building Zoning and Development Committee also met on October 25, 2016 at 7:00 <br />p.m. Present were committee members Schumann, Barker and Williamson; Council <br />members Brossard and Hemann; Mayor Kennedy; Planning Director Wenger; Safety <br />Services Director Glauner and Director of Finance Copfer. <br />• The legislation discussed was Ordinance 2016-16 an Ordinance amending various <br />sections of Chapter Nine Fifty of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North <br />Olmsted titled "Urban Forest" for the purpose of (1) removing reference to the <br />previously abolished Architectural Review Board; and (2) reassigning, when <br />appropriate, duties previously assigned to the now -abolished board, and declaring <br />an emergency. There was little discussion. We have updated the Code on several <br />occasions this year to reflect the new reality of the no longer existing architectural <br />review board. The vote was 3-0 to recommend to Council. <br />AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION <br />No comments. <br />LEGISLATION <br />Ordinance 2016-75 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading. An <br />Ordinance providing for the amendment of the Zone Map of the City of North Olmsted <br />by rezoning a portion of the split zoned property identified as Permanent Parcel No. 232- <br />34-016 and the entire property identified as Permanent Parcel No. 232-34-017 from <br />Single Residence B to General Retail Business. Councilman Schumann moved for <br />adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Barker and passed unanimously. <br />Ordinance 2016-75 adopted 7-0. <br />Resolution 2016-93 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a one year contract with TAC Computer, <br />Inc. in order to provide maintenance and repair services to computer hardware and <br />software in the North Olmsted Police Department, and declaring an emergency. <br />Councilman Barker moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman <br />Williamson and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2016-93 adopted 7-0. <br />Resolution 2016-95 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Director of Planning & Development to negotiate the sale of <br />city owned real property identified as PPN 234-12-052, vacant land located at 6652 <br />Charles Road, and subject to review and approval by the Director of Law, authorizing the <br />Mayor to enter into an agreement with a purchaser, and further requiring that the net <br />proceeds from the sale shall be directed into the Building and Land Acquisition and <br />Improvement Fund. Councilman Schumann moved for adoption. The motion was <br />seconded by Councilman Barker and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2016-95 adopted 7- <br />0. <br />.19 <br />
