Council Minutes of 12-20-2016 "Property Maintenance" in order to provide additional maintenance requirements for outdoor telephone pay stations. Councilman Schumann moved for adoption. A Resolution authorizing and directing the Director of Planning and Development to make application on behalf of the City of North Olmsted for Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds for the fiscal year 2017 for the Burns Road Sidewalk Project; further authorizing the Mayor to accept the grant if awarded and to execute a contract with Cuyahoga County, and declaring an emergency. Councilwoman Williamson moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Hemann and passed unanimously. Resolution 2016-131 adopted 7-0. Ordinance 2016-132 introduced by Mayor Kennedy and was given its second reading. An Ordinance amending Section 135.02 Titled "Director of Finance" of Chapter 135 of the Administrative Code Titled "Department of Finance" in order to update obsolete code references. Ordinance 2016-133 introduced by Mayor Kennedy and was given its second reading. An Ordinance to make and transfer appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 2016, and declaring an emergency, as amended. Councilman Kearney made a motion to suspend the rules requiring three readings as this was discussed in the Finance Committee and is time sensitive. Resolution 2016-135 introduced by Mayor Kennedy and was given its second reading. A Resolution authorizing the Director of Planning and Development to advertise for bids for the award of a contract to provide construction services for the Country Club Boulevard Streetscape Project Phase 11 as detailed in the specifications on file in the Engineering Department, and authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, to contract for the same with the lowest and best bidder. Resolution 2016-136 introduced by Mayor Kennedy and was given its second reading. A Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the award of a contract to provide construction services for the Community Cabin Improvement Project, as detailed in the specifications on file in the Department of Public Service, and authorizing the Mayor, following approval of The Board of Control, to contract for the same with the lowest and best bidder. 7
