The compensation will be increased by 2% each of the years. <br />The committee voted 2-0 in favor of recommending the Ordinance. <br />Discussed last was Resolution 2017-10. A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to <br />enter into a letter agreement with Crown Castle to provide for the modification <br />and extension of a lease agreement to continue the occupancy of real property for <br />the Monopole Cellular Tower located at Clague Park; and further authorizing the <br />Mayor to execute all documents necessary to amend and extend such lease <br />agreement. Assistant Law Director O'Malley gave an update on this matter. The <br />City will receive 50% of all the rental deals. The committee voted 2-0 in favor of <br />recommending the Resolution. <br />Councilman Brossard Chairman of the Recreation, Public . Parks and Buildings <br />Committee: <br />The Recreation, Public Parks and Buildings Committee met on Tuesday, January 24, <br />2017 at 7:00 p.m. Present were committee members Brossard, Kearney and Schumann; <br />Council members Hemann and Limpert; Mayor Kennedy, Law Director Gareau and <br />guests. <br />• Discussed was Ordinance 2017-9. An Ordinance amending Chapter 953 entitled <br />"Recreation Center Complex" in order to update the petty cash allocation for the <br />Recreation Center and to eliminate the obsolete Concessions Division. This is a <br />housekeeping ordinance. It eliminates the obsolete Concessions Division and the <br />original chapter was codified in 1975, but ensuing ordinances were never codified <br />including in 2001 when the petty cash amount was raised for $850.00 to <br />$1450.00. A motion was made to recommend approval to Council by Councilman <br />Brossard. The motion was seconded by Councilman Kearney and the Committee <br />voted to recommend approval by a vote of 3-0. <br />Councilman Schumann requested personal privilege. Paul, I'm stunned. I'm real <br />surprised and I'm real happy for you I think it's a good job for you. <br />Councilman Limpert requested personal privilege. What I admire most about Mr. Barker <br />is he treated me like a professional, before I even expressed interest in Council. For that I <br />am grateful. Having known his daughter far longer than I've known him, I know the <br />apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Mr. Barker <br />as the new member to Council, I'd like to thank you for your help, information, guidance <br />and support. It's not always easy to come in and even know that the forms are in the <br />drawer. Simple things, typical things, thank you always.
