The Economic Development page on the city's website will have, as a minimum, <br />relevant demographic information, a comprehensive list of awards and distinctions received by the city, <br />a listing of private and publicly -owned sites and buildings, incentive packages and materials for targeted <br />industries, and opportunities and support services for existing businesses. <br />Performance measures: <br />o Number of annual meetings with business representatives (e.g., owners, advisors, brokers, site <br />selection consultants as well as regional and state business attraction professionals) <br />o New businesses in North Olmsted <br />o Employee headcount and new income and property taxes attributed to new businesses <br />o Listing of contacts or potential businesses obtained through serving as the lead contact <br />o Management of a business mix matrix <br />o Updated economic development content on Economic Development page of the city's website <br />o Maintain & review community profile with Team NEO, JobsOhio and other relevant business <br />attractions resources <br />➢ Strategic Economic Development Plan <br />The city of North Olmsted wishes to implement certain recommendations from its 2015 Master Plan. <br />MB3 will study market data, evaluate opportunities and make specific recommendations for increasing <br />the city's economic potential. <br />Performance measures: <br />o Developer -targeted marketing materials for both new development and, when possible, for the <br />catalytic redevelopment sites. <br />➢ Build Strong Relationship with JobsOhio and Regional Economic Development Entities <br />These organizations are partners in the city's economic development efforts, strategies and resources. <br />They can provide free marketing for the city and expand our contact base and opportunities. Fostering <br />relationships with these organizations will provide a competitive advantage at the state and regional <br />level and ensure that the city receives feedback from prospective companies about what North Olmsted <br />can do to provide effective support to new and expanding businesses.
