Council Minutes of 10-17-2017 motion was seconded by Councilman Rahm and passed unanimously. CMS 17-8799 approved 7-0. • Discussed last was CMS 17-9739 Ganley Westside located at 25730 Lorain Road. The proposal consists of demolishing the existing 6,600 square foot service building and constructing a new 17,740 square foot service building in the same vicinity on the Ganley Westside Imports property. The property is zoned B-3 General Business. Illumination levels are code complaint. In staff review, the applicant was asked to review the condition of landscaping and fencing throughout the site and to make any repairs or replacements necessary. No signage is proposed. There was only one Planning and Design Commission motion, which was the condition of the landscaping be assessed and improved accordingly. The committee voted to recommend to Council 3-0 with the Planning & Design Commission recommendation. Councilman Schumann made a motion to approve with the Planning & Design Commission recommendation CMS 17-9739 Ganley Westside located at 25730 Lorain Road. The motion was seconded by Councilman Rahm and passed unanimously. CMS 17-9739 approved 7-0. AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION No participation. LEGISLATION Resolution 2017-66 was introduced by Mayor Kennedy and was given its second reading. A Resolution approving of and authorizing the Mayor to enter into a collective bargaining agreement with the International Association of Firefighters, Local 1267, AFL-CIO for the City's Firefighters, for the period January 1, 2018 through December 31, 2020. Resolution 2017-67 was introduced by Mayor Kennedy and was given its second reading. A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to solicit bids for the rental of golf carts and other vehicles for Springvale, and authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract for said vehicle rentals, subject to approval by the Board of Control, and declaring an emergency. Ordinance 2017-68 was introduced by Mayor Kennedy and Councilman Rahm and was given its second reading. An Ordinance establishing a Sidewalk Maintenance Fund, after approval from the Auditor of State, as a non -major special revenue fund to account for the receipt of funds collected for sidewalk panel replacement and related expenditures. Ordinance 2017-70 was introduced by Mayor Kennedy and was given its second reading. An Ordinance authorizing the Director of Public Safety to purchase an Emergency Medical Vehicle for the North Olmsted Fire Department from Horton EMV at a cost of $342,098.00, as priced through the State Purchasing Program; further authorizing the Mayor to execute necessary contract documents, and declaring an emergency. 2
