Council Minutes of 11-8-2017 <br />Resolution 2017-73 was introduced by Mayor Kennedy and was given its second reading. <br />A Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for diesel <br />fuel and gasoline products for use by the City of North Olmsted, as per specifications on <br />file, and authorizing the Mayor, after approval of the Board of Control, to enter into a <br />contract to purchase such products. <br />Ordinance 2017-74 was introduced by Mayor Kennedy and was given its second reading. <br />An Ordinance to make and transfer appropriations for current expenses and other <br />expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 2017, and <br />declaring an emergency. Councilman Kearney moved to suspend the rules requiring three <br />readings as this was heard in committee and is time sensitive. The motion was seconded <br />by Councilman Schumann and passed unanimously. Councilman Kearney moved for <br />adoption of Ordinance 2017-74. The motion was seconded by Councilman Schumann <br />and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2017-74 adopted 5-0. <br />Resolution 2017-75 was introduced by Mayor Kennedy and was given its second reading. <br />A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a one year contract with TAC Computer <br />Inc. in order to provide maintenance and repair services to computer hardware and <br />software in the North Olmsted Police Department. <br />Ordinance 2017-76 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An <br />Ordinance amending Chapter 1145 "Limited Industry -Industrial Park District" of Chapter <br />Eleven of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted titled "Planning and <br />Zoning Code," for the purpose of implementing zoning code changes proposed by the <br />City of North Olmsted Planning and Design Commission. <br />Resolution 2017-77 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilwoman <br />Hemann. A Resolution proclaiming November as Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month in <br />the City of North Olmsted, Ohio, and declaring an emergency. Councilwoman Hemann <br />moved to suspend the rules requiring three readings and formal committee review as this <br />was heard in caucus and is time sensitive. The motion was seconded by Councilman <br />Limpert and passed unanimously. Councilwoman Hemann moved to adopt Resolution <br />2017-77. The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert and passed unanimously. <br />Resolution 2017-77 adopted 5-0. <br />Resolution 2017-78 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the award <br />of a contract to purchase asphalt & stone materials, as detailed by specifications on file, <br />and authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, to contract for <br />the same with the lowest and best bidder. <br />Resolution 2017-79 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor to purchase replacement parts from Pelton <br />Environmental Products, at a cost of $58,113.61, for the centrifuge at the Wastewater <br />Treatment Plant, and declaring an emergency. <br />MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS <br />n <br />
