Council Minutes of 11-21-2017 <br />The Intra -Governmental Relations Committee met on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at <br />7:20 p.m. Present were committee members Limpert and Kearney; Council members <br />Brossard, Rahm, Schumann and Williamson; Council President Jones; Director of Safety <br />& Service Glauner and guests. <br />• Discussed was the appointment of Wilma Kepperley to the Arts Commission to <br />fill an unexpired term ending December 31, 2020. Ms. Kepperley was present and <br />noted her long standing involvement in the North Olmsted Junior Women's Club <br />and North Olmsted Historical Society. While she originally is from Bay, she <br />really has been a life time North Olmsted resident. Mr. Limpert and Kearney both <br />thanked Ms. Kepperley for her interest in the Arts Commission and thought she <br />would be a great addition. The committee voted 2-0 to recommend to Council to <br />fill the unexpired term. <br />Councilman Limpert made a motion to appoint Wilma Kepperley to the Arts Commission <br />to fill the unexpired term ending December 31, 2020. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Kearney and passed unanimously. Ms. Kepperley appointed to the Arts <br />Commission to fill the unexpired term ending December 31, 2020 by a vote of 6-0. <br />AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION <br />No comments. <br />LEGISLATION <br />Resolution 2017-73 was introduced by Mayor Kennedy and was given its third reading. <br />A Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for diesel <br />fuel and gasoline products for use by the City of North Olmsted, as per specifications on <br />file, and authorizing the Mayor, after approval of the Board of Control, to enter into a <br />contract to purchase such products. Councilman Kearney moved for adoption. The <br />motion was seconded .by Councilman Schumann and passed unanimously. Resolution <br />2017-73 adopted 6-0. <br />Resolution 2017-75 was introduced by Mayor Kennedy and was given its third reading. <br />A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a one year contract with TAC Computer <br />Inc. in order to provide maintenance and repair services to computer hardware and <br />software in the North Olmsted Police Department. Councilman Kearney moved for <br />adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Schumann and passed unanimously. <br />Resolution 2017-75 adopted 6-0. <br />Resolution 2017-78 was introduced by Mayor Kennedy and was given its second reading. <br />A Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the <br />award of a contract to purchase asphalt & stone materials, as detailed by specifications on <br />file, and authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, to contract <br />for the same with the lowest and best bidder. <br />Resolution 2017-79 was introduced by Mayor Kennedy and was given its second reading. <br />A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to purchase replacement parts from Pelton <br />Environmental Products, at a cost of $58,113.61, for the centrifuge at the Wastewater <br />M <br />
