Council Minutes of 11-21-2017 The Intra -Governmental Relations Committee met on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at 7:20 p.m. Present were committee members Limpert and Kearney; Council members Brossard, Rahm, Schumann and Williamson; Council President Jones; Director of Safety & Service Glauner and guests. • Discussed was the appointment of Wilma Kepperley to the Arts Commission to fill an unexpired term ending December 31, 2020. Ms. Kepperley was present and noted her long standing involvement in the North Olmsted Junior Women's Club and North Olmsted Historical Society. While she originally is from Bay, she really has been a life time North Olmsted resident. Mr. Limpert and Kearney both thanked Ms. Kepperley for her interest in the Arts Commission and thought she would be a great addition. The committee voted 2-0 to recommend to Council to fill the unexpired term. Councilman Limpert made a motion to appoint Wilma Kepperley to the Arts Commission to fill the unexpired term ending December 31, 2020. The motion was seconded by Councilman Kearney and passed unanimously. Ms. Kepperley appointed to the Arts Commission to fill the unexpired term ending December 31, 2020 by a vote of 6-0. AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION No comments. LEGISLATION Resolution 2017-73 was introduced by Mayor Kennedy and was given its third reading. A Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for diesel fuel and gasoline products for use by the City of North Olmsted, as per specifications on file, and authorizing the Mayor, after approval of the Board of Control, to enter into a contract to purchase such products. Councilman Kearney moved for adoption. The motion was seconded .by Councilman Schumann and passed unanimously. Resolution 2017-73 adopted 6-0. Resolution 2017-75 was introduced by Mayor Kennedy and was given its third reading. A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a one year contract with TAC Computer Inc. in order to provide maintenance and repair services to computer hardware and software in the North Olmsted Police Department. Councilman Kearney moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Schumann and passed unanimously. Resolution 2017-75 adopted 6-0. Resolution 2017-78 was introduced by Mayor Kennedy and was given its second reading. A Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the award of a contract to purchase asphalt & stone materials, as detailed by specifications on file, and authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, to contract for the same with the lowest and best bidder. Resolution 2017-79 was introduced by Mayor Kennedy and was given its second reading. A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to purchase replacement parts from Pelton Environmental Products, at a cost of $58,113.61, for the centrifuge at the Wastewater M
