day or as soon as possible thereafter, and take such steps as are necessary to remedy the unsafe <br />condition. <br />In the event the employee has notified his supervisor of the unsafe condition, the <br />employee shall not be required to perform the work until it has been determined to be safe. <br />However, the employee may be assigned to alternative duties until such time as an investigation <br />is completed. <br />27.03 The Employer will provide and maintain safe vehicles for all employees required to use <br />vehicles for their assigned duties. The vehicle status, whether safe or unsafe, will be determined <br />by the Service Director or his designee. <br />27.04 Employees shall be required to keep the interior of vehicles clean and clear of objects <br />such as: tools, lunch wrappers, cans, and bottles. Debris such as: lunch wrappers, cans and <br />bottles shall be removed and properly disposed of by the end of each shift. <br />27.05 Employees involved in an accident involving an Employer vehicle, equipment or other <br />property shall notify their supervisor as soon as possible. The employee shall complete a police <br />report and all other report forms required by the employer. <br />27.06 There shall be a Labor Management Committee established, consisting of three (3) <br />persons from the union and three (3) persons from management. Meetings will be held quarterly <br />or as needed by mutual agreement of the parties to promote a drug free workplace and/or other <br />subjects of mutual interest to the parties. Meetings shall be held during the last thirty (30) <br />minutes of the shift. <br />27.07 The Employer will provide to all bargaining unit employees a Hepatitis B Shot Program <br />if it is requested. <br />ARTICLE 28 TEMPORARY WORK LOAD (TWL) <br />28.01 The Employer and the Union shall attempt through agreement to place partially disabled <br />employees on light -work jobs which are available or become available during the tens of their <br />disability, and which they are qualified to perform. <br />28.02 The Employer will require that any employee who is disabled off the job, and is absent <br />from work (sick time or leave of absence) for a period in excess of 3 days will be required to <br />submit a Employer furnished Return to Work Form. An employee injured on the job shall <br />provide an Employer furnished Return to Work Form, prior to returning to work. In lieu of a <br />Employer furnished Return to Work Form, an employee may provide any similar form, or <br />attending physician's written statement, which specifies either the ability to return to work <br />"without limitations" or" limitations" exist from date to date. <br />28.03 Once a disabled employee has exhausted his sick leave benefits, the Employer will <br />continue to pay its portion of his paid hospitalization for 90 clays. <br />21 <br />
