Council Minutes of 6-5-2018 <br />Resolution 2018-47 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for rock salt <br />for roadway ice and snow removal for use by the City of North Olmsted, as detailed in <br />specifications on file and further authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with the <br />lowest and best bidder, after Board of Control approval. Councilman Kearney moved for <br />adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Glassburn and passed unanimously. <br />Resolution 2018-47 adopted 5-0. <br />Resolution 2018-49 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A <br />Resolution adopting the Alternative Tax Budget of the City of North Olmsted for the <br />fiscal year beginning January 1, 2019, and submitting the same to the Cuyahoga County <br />Fiscal Officer and its Budget Commission, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution 2018-50 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A <br />Resolution approving of and authorizing the Mayor to enter into a collective bargaining <br />agreement with the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees <br />("AFSCME"), Ohio Council 8, Local 2681 for the City's Service Unit employees, for the <br />period July 1, 2018 through December 31, 2020 and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance 2018-51 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An <br />Ordinance amending and restating Section 957.01 of Chapter 957 (Alcoholic Beverages <br />on Public Grounds) of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted in order to <br />permit beer and wine to be sold and consumed at the North Olmsted Party in the Park on <br />July 28, 2018 as a one time event, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance 2018-52 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An <br />Ordinance amending Chapter 1305 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North <br />Olmsted titled "One, Two and Three Family Dwelling Code." <br />Ordinance 2018-53 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An <br />Ordinance amending Sections 749.03 and 749.09 of the Codified Ordinances of the City <br />of North Olmsted, of Chapter 749 entitled "Massage Establishments" for the purpose of <br />defining location restrictions and inspections. <br />Ordinance 2018-54 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An <br />Ordinance amending Chapter 1317 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North <br />Olmsted entitled "Registration of Contractors," and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution 2018-55 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into an option and lease agreement with <br />TowerCo 2013 LLC to provide for a monopole cellular tower located at the Recreation <br />Center property; and further authorizing the Mayor to execute all necessary documents, <br />and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance 2018-56 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An <br />Ordinance authorizing the Director of Planning and Development to request proposals <br />from qualified firms to provide professional planning and zoning services for the Sign <br />Code Update Project, and following approval by the Board of Control, further authorizing <br />5 <br />
