Council Minutes of 6-19-2018 <br />advisory service that will help us in the long run save and potentially earn money. So <br />congrats to her for putting this together. Thank you. <br />Councilman Schumann moved to table Resolution 2018-61. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Brossard and passed unanimously. Resolution 2018-61 tabled 7-0. <br />Ordinance 2018-62 introduced by Mayor Kennedy and was given its second reading. An <br />Ordinance dispensing with the RFP process and authorizing the Mayor to enter into a <br />contract with John Patrick Picard Architect, Inc. for the purpose of providing <br />architectural services for the Springvale Ballroom roof and HVAC project, and declaring <br />an emergency. Councilman Kearney moved to suspend the rule requiring three readings <br />as this was discussed in committee and is time sensitive. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilwoman Hemann and passed unanimously. Councilman Kearney moved for <br />adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Hemann and passed unanimously. <br />Ordinance 2018-62 adopted 7-0. <br />Resolution 2018-63 introduced by Mayor Kennedy and was given its second reading. A <br />Resolution ratifying and further authorizing the Mayor to enter into an Intergovernmental <br />Agreement for shared services/materials with the City of North Ridgeville and declaring <br />an emergency. Councilman Glassburn moved to suspend the rule requiring three readings <br />as this has been discussed in committee and is time sensitive. The motion was seconded <br />by Councilman Kearney and passed unanimously. Councilman Kearney moved for <br />adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Hemann and passed unanimously. <br />Resolution 2018-63 adopted 7-0. <br />Ordinance 2018-64 introduced by Mayor Kennedy and was given its second reading. An <br />Ordinance renaming and amending Section 333.11 of the Traffic Code currently entitled <br />"Texting While Driving Prohibited" so as to further prohibit internet usage while driving <br />and additionally making a violation of Section 333.11 a primary offense. <br />Resolution 2018-65 introduced by Mayor Kennedy on behalf of himself and all of <br />Council and was given its second reading. A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to accept <br />a donation of over $1,000.00 from the North Olmsted Foundation to assist in the <br />acquisition of a K9 Unit and related equipment for the Division of Police, and declaring <br />an emergency, as amended. Councilman Brossard moved to suspend the rule requiring <br />three readings as this has been discussed in committee and is time sensitive. The motion <br />was seconded by Councilwoman Williamson and passed unanimously. Councilman <br />Brossard moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Williamson <br />and passed unanimously. Resolution 2018-65 adopted 7-0. <br />Ordinance 2018-66 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An <br />Ordinance to make and transfer appropriations for current expenses and other <br />expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 2018, and <br />declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance 2018-67 was introduced and placed on first reading by Council President <br />Jones on behalf of herself and all of Council. An Ordinance to revise the Codified <br />Ordinances by adopting current replacement pages; and declaring an emergency. <br />13 <br />
