Council Minutes of 1 1-7-2018 <br />Resolution 2018-92 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for rock salt <br />for roadway ice and snow removal for use by the City of North Olmsted, as detailed in <br />specifications on file and further authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with the <br />lowest and best bidder, after Board of Control approval. <br />Resolution 2018-93 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to solicit bids for the collection and <br />disposal of solid waste and recyclable materials; and further authorizing the Mayor, upon <br />approval of the Board of Control, to enter into a contract with the lowest and best bidder. <br />Ordinance 2018-94 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An <br />Ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with Verizon Wireless to <br />provide cellular phone replacements together with Police and Fire First Responder Pre- <br />Emption services, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Brossard moved to suspend <br />the rule requiring three readings as this was discussed in committee and is time sensitive. <br />The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Williamson and passed unanimously. <br />Councilman Brossard moved for adoption. A <br />Resolution dispensing with a formal RFP process and authorizing the Mayor to enter into <br />a contract with Richard L. Bowen & Associates, Inc. to provide engineering consulting <br />services to the City of North Olmsted. <br />Ordinance 2018-96 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An <br />Ordinance amending and restating Chapter 165 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of <br />North Olmsted titled, "Landmarks Commission." <br />Ordinance 2018-97 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An <br />Ordinance amending sections of 1363.100 of Chapter 1363 of the Exterior Property <br />Maintenance Code entitled "Notice of Violation" in order to provide an additional <br />method of service for a notice of violation, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance 2018-98 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An <br />Ordinance amending sections 1364.100 of Chapter 1364 of the Interior Maintenance <br />Code entitled "Notice of Violation" in order to provide an additional method of service <br />for a notice of violation, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance 2018-99 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An <br />Ordinance to make and transfer appropriations for the year ending December 31, 2018, <br />and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance 2018-101 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An <br />Ordinance amending the Traffic Control File of the City of North Olmsted to remove <br />school hour parking restrictions on Revere Drive, Pompton Drive, Glouchester Drive, <br />Nantucket Drive and Dorothy Drive, and declaring an emergency. <br />7 <br />
