Council Minutes of 1-2-2019 County had originally given us as estimates. It is minimally different and it can be handled without any changes required to the 2019 Temporary Appropriations. Councilman Kearney Chairman of the Recreation, Public Parks and Buildings Committee: The Recreation, Public Parks and Buildings Committee met on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at 6:45 p.m. Present were committee members Kearney, Hemann & Brossard; Council members Glassburn, Limpert, Schumann and Williamson; Mayor Kennedy, Recreation Commissioner Drenski, Director of Human Resources Gallo, Director of Safety & Service Glauner, Director of Planning & Development Lieber, Chief of Police Wagner and guests. • Discussed was Resolution 2018-119. A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to advertise for bids for the award of a contract to provide design build construction services for new playground facilities at North Olmsted Park, and authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control to contract for the same with the lowest and best bidder. Questions were asked and answered. The committee voted 3-0 to recommend to Council. Councilman Brossard Chairman of the Public Safety, Health and Welfare Committee: The Public Safety, Health and Welfare Committee met on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. Present were committee members Brossard, Williamson and Limpert; Council members Glassburn, Hemann, Kearney and Schumann; Council President Jones; Mayor Kennedy, Director of Human Resources Gallo, Director of Safety & Service Glauner, Director of Planning & Development Lieber and guests. • Discussed was Liquor Permit 0351686 B&H Resources doing business as Easy Flo Gas located at 28925 Lorain Road. There was no objection by the Police Department. The committee voted 3-0 to recommend to Council to not object. Councilman Brossard made a motion to not object to Liquor Permit 0351686 B&H Resources. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Williamson and passed unanimously. Yes: Brossard, Williamson, Kearney, Hemann, Limpert, Glassburn, Schumann No: None Motion carried. Liquor permit not objected to 7-0. Councilman Schumann Chairman of the Finance Committee: The Finance Committee met on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at 7:10 p.m. Present were committee members Schumann, Brossard and Kearney; Council members Glassburn, Hemann, Limpert and Williamson; Council President Jones; Mayor Kennedy, Director of Human Resources Gallo, Director of Safety & Service Glauner, Director of Planning & Development Lieber, Chief of Police Wagner and guests. 2
