Ch. 1303 <br />Smoke detectors - see FIRE PREV. 1701.13 <br />1305. 01 PURPOSE AND ADOPTION. <br />There is hereby adopted and incorporated by reference as if set out at length <br />herein, for the purpose of establishing rules and regulations for the erection, construction, ? <br />enlargement, alteration, repair, improvement, removal, conversion, demolition, <br />equipment, use, occupancy or maintenance of one, two and three-family dwelling houses <br />which are not constructed of industrialized units, and their accessory structures, that <br />certain code known as the One and Two Family Dwelling Code, 1979, third edition, <br />published jointly as a nationally recognized model code by the: Building Officials and <br />Code Administrators International, Inc. ; International Conference of Building Officials; <br />and Southern Building Code Congress International. The One and Two Family Dwelling <br />Code shall be enforced in conjunction with such provisions of the BOCA Basic Building <br />Code adopted under Section 1301.01(b) as are applicable to one, two and three-family dwellings. <br />1305.02 FILE AND DISTRIBUTION COPIES. <br />Copies of the Dwelling Code adopted under Section. 1305. 01 are on $le with the Clerk <br />of Council for inspection by the public and in the County law library. In addition the Clerk <br />of Council has copdes available for distribution to the public at cost. <br />1305.03 CONFLICT. <br />Except as otherwfse specifically provided for in this chapter, in all other cases of <br />conflict between the One and Two Family Dwelling Code and any other City ordinance or <br />technical code adopted thereby, the more restrictive provision shall govern. <br />? <br />1982 Replacement
