? <br />0 <br />1305.05 BUILDING CODE 14 <br />? <br />Upon the $.ling of an application for a permit and during the ten day waiting period referred to, the Building Commissioner or his authorized inspector shall make an <br />inspection of the property to be improved and determine the elevation and grade <br />requested to be established on.the premises involved will not be injuriaus to adjoining <br />property. <br />Any property owner or person who has reason to believe that the proposed elevation <br />and grade may be hazardous or injurious by virtue of a proposed change in elevation <br />or grade, or in the oonstxuction contemplated by the application for a building permit, <br />may file objections with the Board of Building Code Appeals. The Board shall, upon <br />receipt of such protest, notify the applicant and the objector of the date for a hearing <br />before the Board on such objections which shall not be more than two weeks after <br />the $ling of such written protest. <br />(b) Lots With 50 Feet or Less Frontage on an Existing Street. In the event the application <br />for a building permit as required under the provisions of the Dwelling Code involves <br />the proposed construction of or alteration of any dwelling or appurtenant structure <br />on a lot having fifty feet or less frontage on an existing street, such application shall, <br />in addition to the provisions of subsection (a) hereof be referred to the Board of <br />Building Code Appeals who shall, in addition to ruling on any protest that may be <br />filed with it, first determine priur to the approval of the application for a permit <br />for such premises, that the proposed construction or alteration does not effect <br />drainage of surface water or waste unto or over adjoining property or into any <br />public street as may be injurious to the public safety, health or welfare. ? <br />(Ord. 2806. Passed 2-3-59. ) <br />(c) Type "A" Flues. Any new dwel]ing, new building or new structure having a <br />basement, cellar or utility room shall have one masonry or Class "A" fl:ue. <br />(Ord. 1975-116. Passed 6-17-75. ) <br />(d) Plywood Roof Sheathing. <br />Minimum Thickness.
