Council President Jones, Committee of the Whole: The Committee of the Whole met on Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at 7:35 p.m. Present were Council members Brossard, Glassburn, Hemann, Kearney Limpert, Schumann and Williamson, Council President Jones; Mayor Kennedy, Director of Finance Copfer, Director of Safety & Service Glauner, Director of Planning & Development Lieber, Recreation Commissioner Drenski, Assistant Recreation Commissioner Wetmore and guests. • The Committee of the Whole met to review information regarding the Recreation Facilities and Parks. The City provided fact sheets with highlights from each area of Recreation Services and showed some of the costs associated with each along with needed improvements. Council asked many questions and members were encouraged to send their additional questions to the administration as the City moves forward in the process to identify the next steps in the Recreation Master Plan that needs attention. Council plans to meet again within the next few weeks regarding this issue. Councilman Kearney Chairman of the Recreation, Public Parks and Buildings Committee: The Recreation, Public Parks and Buildings Committee met on Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. Present were committee members Kearney, Hemann and Brossard; Council members Glassburn, Schumann and Williamson; Mayor Kennedy, Director of Safety & Service Glauner, Director of Planning & Development Lieber and guests. • Discussed was Resolution 2019-35. A Resolution dispensing with the RFP Process and authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with WHS Engineering for the purpose of providing engineering services for HVAC System at the North Olmsted City Hall Complex, and declaring an emergency. The Resolution was discussed and explained, while questions were asked and answered. The committee voted 3-0 to recommend to Council with suspension. Councilman Limpert Chairman of the Streets and Transportation Committee: The Streets and Transportation Committee met on Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at 7:15 p.m. Present were committee members Limpert, Kearney and Glassburn; Council members Brossard, Schumann and Williamson; Council President Jones; Mayor Kennedy, Director of Finance Copfer, Director of Safety & Service Glauner, Director of Planning & Development Lieber, Assistant Law Director O'Malley and guests. 2
