On this piece of legislation, I think that <br />suspension is out of order with regards to the rules of the State of Ohio, but with regard to <br />the subject matter it does need to move forward. Thank you. <br />Councilman Schumann moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman <br />Brossard and passed unanimously. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Schumann, Brossard, Hemann, Kearney, Limpert. <br />No: None. <br />Motion carried. Ordinance 2019-46 adopted 5-0. <br />Councilman Glassburn abstained. <br />Ordinance 2019-48 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An <br />Ordinance amending and restating Section 957.01 of Chapter 957 (Alcoholic Beverages <br />on Public Grounds) of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted in order to <br />permit beer and wine to be sold and consumed at the annual North Olmsted Party in the <br />Park. <br />Resolution 2019-49 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Director of Planning and Development to make application on <br />behalf of the City of North Olmsted for a NatureWorks grant for improvements to North <br />Olmsted Community Park through the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR); <br />further authorizing the Mayor to accept the grant, if awarded, and to execute any <br />contracts with ODNR. <br />Resolution 2019-50 introduced by Mayor Kennedy and Council President Jones was <br />given its second reading. A Resolution authorizing the Mayor. on behalf of the City of <br />North Olmsted, to enter into an agreement with the Northeast Ohio Public Energy <br />Council (NOPEC), to accept NOPEC Energized Community Grants for 2019, and <br />declaring an emergency. Councilman Kearney moved to suspend the rule requiring three <br />readings as this was discussed in committee and is time sensitive.
