Council Minutes of 4-02-2019 <br />No: None <br />Motion carried. Resolution 2019-49 adopted 7-0. <br />Resolution 2019-51 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor to purchase a new 2020 Peterbilt Truck from Northern <br />Ohio Peterbilt, including a hooklift system installed by Concord Road Equipment, at a <br />combined cost of $171,899.23, as priced through State approved cooperative purchasing <br />programs; and further authorizing the Mayor to execute all contract documents. <br />Resolution 2019-52 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Director of Planning and Development to advertise for bids <br />for the award of a contract to provide construction services for the 2019 Sidewalk <br />Program, as detailed in the specifications on file with the Division of Engineering, and <br />authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, to contract for the <br />same with the lowest and best bidder. <br />Ordinance 2019-53 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An <br />Ordinance to levy sidewalk assessment upon listed real property for the total costs <br />incurred by the City of North Olmsted to repair, replace or construct sidewalks adjacent <br />thereto, as such improvements were deemed necessary and installed pursuant to the 2018 <br />Sidewalk Program in the City of North Olmsted. <br />Resolution 2019-54 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution declaring the necessity of the construction and repair of certain sidewalks in <br />the City of North Olmsted by the abutting property owners; the construction, repair, and <br />assessment of the costs of sidewalks in certain cases by the City, and declaring an <br />emergency. Councilman Limpert moved to suspend the rule requiring three readings and <br />formal committee review as it is important to get the residents notified as early as <br />possible.
