Ordinance 2019-74 adopted 5-1. <br />Ordinance 2019-75 introduced by Mayor Kennedy, Councilman Glassburn and <br />Councilman Schumann was given its third reading. An Ordinance amending Section <br />915.04 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted to (1) establish revised <br />charges for the use of the Municipal Sanitary Sewer System; (2) establish a Homestead <br />Exemption Program; (3) include an affordability discount; and (4) adjust to a monthly <br />billing protocol; and declaring an emergency, as amended. Councilman Glassburn moved <br />for adoption. Ordinance 2019-75 adopted 6-0. <br />Resolution 2019-76 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Director of Planning and Development to solicit Statements of <br />Qualifications from qualified design professionals to provide architectural and <br />engineering services for the North Olmsted Community Park Ballfields Rehabilitation <br />Project, and further authorizing the Mayor, following approval by the Board of Control, <br />to enter into a contract with the firm selected in the "R.F.Q." process, and declaring an <br />emergency. Councilman Kearney moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilwoman Hemann and passed 4-2. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Kearney, Brossard, Limpert, Schumann <br />No: Hemann, Glassburn <br />Motion carried. Resolution 2019-76 adopted 4-2. Emergency Clause does not take effect <br />for lack of 2/3rd, s majority of Council. <br />Resolution 2019-77 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Director of Planning & Development to solicit Statements of <br />Qualifications (S.O.Q.) from qualified individuals to provide Building Official and <br />Master Plans Examiner services to the City, and further authorizing the Mayor, following <br />approval of the Board of Control, to enter into a contract with the individual or firm <br />selected in the S.O.Q. process. Councilman Kearney moved for adoption.
