A Resolution accepting the amounts and rates as determined by the Budget Commission and authorizing the necessary tax levies and certifying them to the County Fiscal Officer. Councilman Schumann moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Brossard and passed unanimously. Roll Call: Yes: Schumann, Brossard, Limpert, Glassburn, Williamson, Kearney, Hemann No: None Motion carried. Resolution 2019-82 adopted 7-0. Resolution 2019-83 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading. A Resolution directing the Fiscal Officer of Cuyahoga County to pay the City of North Olmsted, Ohio, during the year 2020, all money due and owing said City from any collection source. Resolution 2019-84 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the award of a contract to purchase concrete materials and related supplies for the year 2020, as detailed in the specifications on file with the Engineer, and authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, to contract for the same with the lowest and best bidder. Resolution 2019-85 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to enter into a contract to dispose of an obsolete dewatering centrifuge in exchange for rate reduction for sludge disposal service, and declaring an emergency. Councilwoman Hemann moved to suspend the rule requiring three readings as it was heard in committee and is time sensitive. The motion was seconded by Councilman Glassburn and passed unanimously.
