Council Minutes of 10-1-2019 <br />Motion carried. <br />Councilwoman Hemann moved for adoption. Resolution 2019-85 adopted 7-0. <br />Ordinance 2019-86 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An <br />Ordinance amending the rates of compensation for various administrative personnel in <br />the Division of Police and for support personnel for the years 2019 and 2020; and <br />otherwise restate the compensation rates and descriptions for various administrative and <br />legislative personnel for the years 2018, 2019 and 2020, and declaring an emergency. <br />Councilman Schumann moved to suspend the rules requiring three readings and formal <br />committee review as this is a time sensitive matter and was discussed in committee today. <br />The motion was seconded by Councilman Brossard and passed 6-1. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Schumann, Brossard, Hemann, Kearney, Limpert, Williamson <br />No: Glassburn <br />Motion carried. <br />Councilman Schumann moved for adoption. A <br />Resolution to cooperate with the Director of Transportation of the Ohio Department of <br />Transportation for a project to upgrade traffic signals and the signal system along <br />Brookpark Road, Great Northern Boulevard, Columbia Road, Clague Road, Country <br />Club Boulevard and Butternut Ridge Road including curb ramps, signing and pavement <br />markings in the City of North Olmsted, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution 2019-88 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution authorizing and directing the Director of Planning and Development to make <br />application on behalf of the City of North Olmsted for Community Development Block <br />Grant (CDBG) funds for the fiscal year 2020 for the North Olmsted Community Park <br />Walking Path project; further authorizing the Mayor to accept the grant if awarded and to <br />execute a contract with Cuyahoga County, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution 2019-89 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy.
