Council Minutes of 1 1-19-2019 <br />position of Communications Manager; (3) reorganize the Department by adding the <br />Divisions of Aging and Youth and Family Services, and (4) remove the Division of <br />Building from the Department. Councilman Schumann moved for adoption. The motion <br />was seconded by Councilman Brossard and passed 5-1. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Schumann, Brossard, Limpert, Hemann, Williamson <br />No: Glassburn <br />Motion carried. Ordinance 2019-91 adopted 5-1. <br />Mr. Limpert voted yes with comment. I just want to first off to thank the committee chair <br />for holding an additional meeting to get additional information that we needed. Second, I <br />wanted to let it be known that I support the Mayor and his effort to run an administration <br />and design it in a way that he feels will be successful for the City. Third, I want to <br />encourage us to make sure any concerns on loopholes or gaps with this reorganization <br />and any training necessary in order to make this successful are fully explored and brought <br />back with any needs Council needs to put in to make it successful. Thank you. <br />Resolution 2019-92 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading. A <br />Resolution dispensing with the formal RFP process and authorizing the Mayor to enter <br />into an agreement with Sedgwick in order to provide for managed care services and <br />administration of self-insured workers compensation program. Councilman Schumann <br />moved for adoption. Resolution 2019-92 adopted 6-0. <br />Ordinance 2019-93 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An <br />Ordinance to make appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for the <br />City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 2019 and declaring an <br />emergency. Councilman Schumann moved to suspend the rules requiring three readings <br />as this was discussed in committee and is time sensitive.
