Council Minutes of 1-21-2020 <br />Resolution 2020-17 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with Enterprise to lease five <br />(5) vehicles, and authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, to <br />execute contracts, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance 2020-18 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An <br />Ordinance amending Sections 1359.08 and 1359.09 of Chapter 1359 of the Building <br />Code entitled "Maintenance of Unoccupied Commercial Buildings" in order to authorize <br />the Building Commissioner to enforce said sections as Chief Building Official of the City <br />of North Olmsted. <br />Ordinance 2020-19 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An <br />Ordinance amending Chapter 1149 "Mixed Use Districts" of Chapter Eleven of the <br />Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted titled "Planning and Zoning Code," for <br />the purpose of implementing Zoning Code changes proposed by the City of North <br />Olmsted Planning and Design Commission. <br />Resolution 2020-20 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with Tempest, Inc., to provide <br />design -build services for the ice area dehumidification, air handling and rink floor <br />modification, as part of the North Olmsted Recreation Center Ice Rink Project, and <br />authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, to execute said <br />contract. <br />Resolution 2020-21 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor to purchase two (2) new Ford Explorer Police <br />Interceptors through the State Purchase Program; and further authorizing the Mayor to <br />execute all purchase agreements, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Brossard <br />moved to suspend the rules requiring three readings and formal committee review as this <br />was discussed in Caucus and is time sensitive.
