Council Minutes of 1-21-2020 Yes: Schumann, Brossard, Williamson, Glassburn, Hemann, Limpert, Kelly No: None Motion carried. Resolution 2019-109 adopted 7-0. Ordinance 2019-110 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading. An Ordinance to make appropriations for Capital Improvements for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 2020. Councilman Schumann moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Brossard and passed unanimously. Roll Call: Yes: Schumann, Brossard, Glassburn, Hemann, Kelly, Limpert, Williamson No: None Motion carried. Ordinance 2019-110 adopted 7-0. Resolution 2019-111 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading. A Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for diesel fuel and gasoline products for use by the City of North Olmsted, as per specifications on file, and authorizing the Mayor, after approval of the Board of Control, to enter into a contract to purchase such products. Councilman Limpert moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Kelly and passed unanimously. Resolution 2019-112 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading. A Resolution authorizing the Director of Human Resources to solicit proposals from qualified lawn care service providers to perform nuisance abatement work for 2020, and further authorizing the Mayor, subject to approval of the Board of Control, to enter into a contract for lawn care services, and declaring an emergency. Councilwoman Williamson moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert and passed unanimously. Resolution 2019-114 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading. A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to advertise for bids for the award of a contract to provide construction services for the Recreation Center Ice Rink Project, as detailed in the specifications on file in the Department of Planning & Development, and authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control to contract for the same with the lowest and best bidder. Councilman Kelly moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Hemann and passed unanimously. Roll Call: 0
