Council Minutes of 2-18-2020 <br />Association of Foodbanks and further authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement <br />for same, and declaring an emergency, as amended. Councilman Kelly moved to suspend <br />the rule requiring three readings as this was discussed in committee and is time sensitive. <br />The motion was seconded by Councilman Glassburn and passed unanimously. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Kelly, Glassburn, Hemann, Limpert, Williamson <br />No: None <br />Motion carried. <br />Councilman Kelly moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman <br />Glassburn and passed unanimously. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Kelly, Glassburn, Williamson, Limpert, Hemann <br />No: None <br />Motion carried. Resolution 2020-29 adopted 5-0. <br />Resolution 2020-30 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor to purchase a new Ford F350 Truck from Valley Ford <br />Truck, at a cost of $48,243.00, through the State Purchase Program; and further <br />authorizing the Mayor to execute all contract documents. <br />Resolution 2020-32 introduced by Mayor Kennedy and co-sponsored by Councilman <br />Glassburn was given its second reading. A Resolution authorizing the Director of <br />Planning and Community Development to request Statements of Qualifications (RFQ) <br />from qualified professionals to provide engineering services for The Clague Road <br />Corridor Study, and further authorizing the Mayor, following approval by the Board of <br />Control, to enter into a contract with the firm selected in the RFQ process. <br />Resolution 2020-33 introduced by Mayor Kennedy and co-sponsored by Council <br />President Jones was given its second reading. A Resolution authorizing the Mayor, on <br />behalf of the City of North Olmsted, to enter into an agreement with the Northeast Ohio <br />Public Energy Council (NOPEC), to accept NOPEC Energized Community Grants for <br />2020, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Kelly moved to suspend the rule <br />requiring three readings as this was heard in committee and is time sensitive. The motion <br />was seconded by Councilwoman Hemann and passed unanimously. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Kelly, Hemann, Limpert, Glassburn, Williamson <br />No: None <br />Motion carried. <br />Councilman Kelly moved for adoption.
