Council Minutes of 6-02-2020 <br />Jeff Sturgeon <br />3092 West 231 <br />Mr. Sturgeon said it was an honor to work on the Charter Review Commission. He said <br />he was proud the report was able to be completed on time. He said he had never done <br />anything like this before. He said the current commission still has four and a half years <br />left if something else comes before the Commission. He asked if the Council discussion <br />be open to the public regarding the Charter Review Commission recommendations. <br />Council President Jones thanked Mr. Sturgeon and the rest of the Commission for their <br />dedication to serving on behalf of Council and the City. She said anytime that Council <br />meets all of those meetings are open to the public. Council always encourages anyone to <br />attend its meetings. Council President Jones said right now it will most likely be online as <br />City Hall continues to be closed to the public. <br />Mr. Sturgeon thanked Council President Jones and said he has gained even more respect <br />for the work Council does through this experience. <br />LEGISLATION <br />Ordinance 2020-55 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An <br />Ordinance authorizing the Mayor and Finance Director to enter into an amendment of the <br />Sewer Service Area defined by Exhibit B of the Sewer Service Agreement with the <br />County of Cuyahoga, as amended and restated in 2013, and declaring an emergency, as <br />amended. Councilwoman Hemann moved for adaptation. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Glassburn and passed 5-2. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Hemann, Williamson, Kelly, Limpert, Brossard <br />No: Glassburn, Schumann <br />Motion carried. Ordinance 2020-55 adopted 5-2. <br />Ordinance 2020-45 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An <br />Ordinance to levy sidewalk assessments upon listed Real Property for the total costs <br />incurred by the City of North Olmsted to repair, replace or construct sidewalks adjacent <br />thereto, as such improvements were deemed necessary and installed pursuant to the 2019 <br />Sidewalk Program in the City of North Olmsted, as amended. <br />Resolution 2020-58 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a Master Cooperation Agreement with <br />Cuyahoga County for preventive maintenance services and reimbursement of funds <br />expended by the City of North Olmsted. <br />Resolution 2020-59 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a Mutual Aid Agreement with Ohio <br />WARN, a statewide Water/Wastewater Agency Response Network (WARN). <br />C$I <br />
