Council Minutes of 6-02-2020 <br />Resolution 2020-60 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Director of Planning and Community Development to <br />advertise for bids for construction services and to solicit proposals for design services for <br />the Butternut Ridge Pocket Park Project, and further appropriating funds for said project <br />and additionally authorizing the Mayor, after approval by the Board of Control, to enter <br />into contracts with the lowest and best bidder and the selected design professional, as <br />amended. <br />Resolution 2020-61 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Director of Planning and Community Development to <br />advertise for bids for construction services for the North Olmsted Community Park <br />Walking Path Project, and further appropriating funds for said project and additionally <br />authorizing the Mayor, after approval by the Board of Control, to enter into a contract <br />with the lowest and best bidder. <br />Resolution 2020-62 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution adopting the alternative tax budget of the City of North Olmsted for the fiscal <br />year beginning January 1, 2021, and submitting the same to the Cuyahoga County Fiscal <br />Officer and its Budget Commission, and declaring an emergency. <br />MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS <br />Councilman Schumann scheduled a Finance meeting for Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at 7:00 <br />p.m. to discuss Resolution 2020-62. <br />Councilman Brossard moved to adjourn into executive session to discuss the <br />investigation of charges or complaints against a public employee. The motion was <br />seconded by Councilwoman Williamson and passed unanimously. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Brossard, Williamson, Schumann, Limpert, Kelly, Hemann, Glassburn <br />No: <br />Motion carried.
