6.2 The Employer and the, Association recognI/c tIic right ofaII employees to be free to join <br />the .Association, should they so desire, and to participate in lawful Association activities. The <br />Employer and the Association agree that there shall be no discrimination by the Frnplover or the <br />Association against any employee because ()f.Association membership or norl-membership. <br />ARTICLE VII RULES REGULATIONS AND ORDERS <br />7.1 The Association agrees that its members shall cornply� y%ith all 1= -re L7epartrnerrt rules, <br />regulations and orders, including those relating tip conduct and work performance. <br />ARTICLE VIII GRIEVANCE PROCFDURF <br />8.1 Any employee shall have the right to present a Grievance in accordance NN ith the <br />procedure provided herein, free from anti interference, coercion.. restraint, discrimination or <br />reprisal. It is the intent and purpose ofthe parties to this Agreement that all grievances shall be <br />settled at the lowest possible step of this procedure. <br />8.2 The follov-ving procedures shall apply to the administration of all grievances filed under <br />this Article. <br />A. When any of the aforementioned Grievance conditions arise, the followin) <br />procedures shall be strictly- observed: <br />All Grievances shall be typewritten and filed on an Official Grievance Form. An <br />Official Grievance F'orrn shall be provided to the employee by the Association <br />and shall contain the following information at the time the Grievance is presented: <br />The date the (grievance occurred, <br />The time the Grievance occurred. <br />A detailed description of the incident giving rise to the Grievance <br />Article and Sections of the Agreement involved or past practice specifically <br />related to benefits that are riot addressed by language of the Agreement. and <br />which does not conflict Nv itlh the specific rights of the F;niployer contained in <br />Article IV, Section 4.3 ofthe Agreernent. <br />Relief requested. <br />Name and signature of the cmplovee and date siygned by the employee. <br />'Fame and signature Ol'the Ste\vard and date signed by the Steward, if any. <br />
