why the employee can't perform his job task and responsibilities and a prognosis of how long the <br />employee will be required to refrain from performing, his job task. <br />26.3 bight Duty, if approved, shall be limited to availability of Light Duty assignments and <br />which is medically appropriate and which contributes to the function and mission of the <br />Department. All Light Duty assignments are to be of a terporary nature. <br />26.4 Should an employee be assigned to [.fight Duty for any period of time. the employee must <br />submit satisfactory medical certification from his physician statim that the employee: can return <br />to his regularly assigned job task prior to reinstatement to regular duty. <br />26.5 Any employee while assigned to Light Duty shall continue to receive all compensation <br />r d fringe benefits, including accumulation of seniority attached to his normally assigned <br />position. <br />ARTICLE XXV11 ]EXPENSE REIM13URSF,MENT <br />27.1 Fire Fighters Is' year shall receive six (56.00) dollars per day for expenses while in <br />attendance at a state certified fire fighters training school as mandated by law. <br />2T2 Should a Fire Fighter I" year be required to travel round trip from N.O.F.D. '41 to school, <br />the Employer shall reimburse at a rate per mile established from time to time, unless the Fire <br />I-igliter 1 year travels in in Employer-ok.kned vehicle. <br />27.3 Should a Fire Fighter I" year be required to be away from his residence overnight for <br />such schooling, the Employer shall pay all costs for meals, housing and transportation. <br />ARTICLE XXV111 COURT LEAVE <br />28. I Fhe Employer shall grant leave with the Basle }-burly Rate of l'ay plus Longevity or <br />Overtime Pay (as applicable) to an employee for the period of time he is required to appear <br />before a court, judge, justice, magistrate or coroner as a plaintiff, defendant or Nvitness in ratters <br />directly relating to his job as an employee of the Employer, Employees shall be paid a minimum <br />mo (2) hours overtime pay for appearance at Rocky Rker Municipal Court. A minimus of four <br />(4) hours overtire pay shall be paid for appearance at a Grand Jury', Common Pleas Court or <br />Juvenile Court. <br />28.2 The Frployer shall grant leave 4vith the Basic Hourly Rate of Pay plus Longevity to an <br />employee for the period oftire he is required to appear forjury duty. <br />28.3 The employee ray be required to worl: weekends %\ 1111C on jury duty.
