Council Minutes of 10-06-2020 <br />explained this Ordinance would create the position of Building Department <br />Coordinator and modify the organization chart to reflect this change. After <br />discussion it was requested the organizational chart be changed to read "1 <br />Building Coordinator full-time or up to 2 part-time. The change has been made. <br />The committee voted 3-0 to recommend to Council. <br />Councilwoman Williamson moved to amend Ordinance 2020-106 to reflect the change in <br />Exhibit B of the organizational chart. The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert <br />and passed unanimously. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Williamson, Limpert, Glassburn, Hemann, Brossard, Kelly, Schumann <br />No: None <br />Motion carried. Ordinance 2020-106 amended 7-0. <br />Councilman Schumann Chairman of the Finance Committee: <br />The Finance Committee met on Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at 8:30 p.m. Present were <br />committee members Schumann, Brossard and Kelly; Council members Glassburn, <br />Hemann, Limpert and Williamson; Council President Jones; Mayor Kennedy, Director of <br />Human Resources Gallo, Director of Law Gareau, Director of Planning & Community <br />Development Lieber and guests. <br />• Discussed was Resolution 2020-102. A Resolution directing the Fiscal Officer of <br />Cuyahoga County to pay to the City of North Olmsted, Ohio, during the year <br />2021 all money due and owing said city from any collection source. This is <br />something done every year. The committee voted 3-0 to recommend to Council. <br />• Discussed next was Ordinance 2020-103. An Ordinance providing for the <br />issuance and sale of not to exceed $1,415,000 of notes, in anticipation of the <br />issuance of bonds, to provide funds to pay part of the City's portion of the costs of <br />improving Brookpark Road between certain termini, in cooperation with the <br />Department of Transportation of the State of Ohio, by grading, draining, curbing, <br />reconstructing and rehabilitating the pavement base, and adjusting, constructing <br />and reconstructing catch basins, curbs and curb ramps, manholes and utility valve <br />and monument boxes, where necessary, preparing the surface and resurfacing and <br />providing decorative lighting and landscaping, in each case together with <br />necessary appurtenances and work incidental thereto. This allows the Finance <br />Director to sell notes in anticipations of bonds next year for this project. The <br />committee voted 3-0 to recommend to Council. <br />• Discussed next was Ordinance 2020-107. An Ordinance to establish the positions <br />of Division of Building Coordinator full time and part time and corresponding <br />compensation for each; and otherwise restate the compensation rates and <br />descriptions for various administrative and legislative personnel for the years <br />2018, 2019 and 2020, and declaring an emergency. This is the financial end of the <br />ordinance discussed in BZD. This allows for between $20 and $40 an hour for a <br />part-time Building Coordinator and between $1,600 and $3,200 biweekly for a <br />full-time Building Coordinator. The committee voted 3-0 to recommend to <br />Council. <br />3 <br />
