Exhibit A: Chapter 1163 Signs (Current) <br />Section 1163.30 Billboards <br />Billboards shall not be permitted in any zoning district. <br />(Ord. 2008-6. Passed 4-1-08.) <br />Section 1163.31 Pole Signs <br />Pole signs shall not be permitted in any zoning district. <br />(Ord. 2008-6. Passed 4-1-08.) <br />Section 1163.32 Window Signs <br />A. No window sign shall exceed 25 square feet in sign face area. <br />B. The total of all window signs shall not exceed 25% of the total of all window area. <br />C. No window sign shall be nearer than two (2) feet to any other sign, building or structure. <br />(Ord. 2008-6. Passed 4-1-08.) <br />Section 1163.33 Flags <br />A. No freestanding flagpole shall exceed 25 feet in height. <br />B. No flagpole attached to a building shall be anchored less than 15 feet from the ground, nor <br />be attached to the roof of a building. <br />C. No more than one flagpole shall be permitted for each 150 feet of frontage, or portion <br />thereof. <br />D. No flagpole shall be constructed closer to any lot line than the length of the flagpole or the <br />required building setback, whichever is greater. <br />E. No flag shall exceed 20 square feet in area, or be more than five (5) feet along any one side. <br />F. No flag shall hang, when fully unfurled, less than 15 feet from the ground. <br />(Ord. 2008-6. Passed 4-1-08.) <br />Section 1163.34 Temporary Signs <br />Temporary signs shall comply with all applicable provisions of Chapter 1163 regarding safety, <br />maintenance and other prohibitions, and shall also comply with the additional conditions and <br />requirements contained in this section. <br />A. Temporary Signs on Residential Property. <br />1. The only types of temporary signs that are permitted are ground signs and window <br />signs. All other types of signs are prohibited. <br />2. All parcels are permitted only one (1) ground sign or one (1) window sign for the purpose <br />of advertising the premises on which it is maintained as being improved, approved for <br />development and under construction, or for sale or lease, which may remain for a period <br />of no longer than two (2) weeks from the date the improvement, sale or lease is <br />completed. A ground sign shall not exceed eight (8) square feet in area per face, and <br />four (4) feet above grade, and shall be set back a minimum of fifteen (15) feet from any <br />public right-of-way.
