Jr. Dav <br />President's Day <br />One-half Day Good Friday <br />Memorial Day <br />Independence Day <br />Labor Day <br />Thanksgiving Day' <br />Day after Thanksgiving <br />Christmas Eve <br />Christmas Day <br />Ncw Years Evc <br />22.02 An employee in the Wastewater Treatment. Plant or the Service Department who may be <br />scheduled to work a full day on Good Friday or Christmas I-Ae shall have the choice to receive <br />overtime or compensatory time off. Rotating shift workers at the W'astc4vater "freahncnt Plant <br />who may be scheduled to work a full day on Laster shall have the choice to receive overtime or <br />compensatory time Off. <br />22.03 In addition to the above holidays, a regular full-time employee shall be entitled to <br />observe three (3) personal days as a holiday with pa} covered by the terms of this Agreement. A <br />regular full-time employee hired between Jul\, I ` and December 31" of any given year shall be <br />entitled to observe one and one-half( 1 !,2) personal days as a holiday Nvith pay covered by the <br />terms ofthis Agreement. The personal days shall be scheduled by mutual agreement betvycen the <br />employee and his supervisor. Personal Days may be scheduled in one -halt (1%2) day increments. <br />22.04 Fo be entitled to holiday pay, errrployees must work the last regular wark day before and <br />the first regular work day atter the holiday. unless excused by the Employer. If any of the above <br />holidays fall on a Saturday or a Sunday, either the previous Friday or the following Monday shall <br />be observed as the holiday, except that: where employees at the Wastewater Plant (which <br />maintains a 7 day operation) normally work a rotatim, shift. the holiday shall he observed on its <br />actual day. <br />22.05 An employee shall take his birthday within the pay period in which it Bills except, an <br />alternate date may be established by mutual agreement bethecn the employee and his supervisor. <br />18 <br />
