the employee's control in the �sork <rrea. or: <br />(2) If the equipment has been stolen and the Employer has failed to supply the <br />employee with a place to lock up his equipment. <br />13. A safety committee consisting of tNvo (2) representatives from mamig:emcnt and <br />two (2) safety representatives appointed by the local anion may confer as <br />necessary for the purpose of attempting to maintain safe working conditions. <br />27.02 lin the event an employee reasonahly believes that a situation is unsafe, the employee <br />shall notify his Supervisor immediately; the super, isor shall investigate the situation on the same <br />day or as soon as possible thereafter, and take such ,teps as are necessary to rernedy the unsafe <br />condition. <br />In the event the employee has notified his supervisor of the unsafe condition, the <br />employee shall not be required to perforin the tivork until it has been determined to he safe. <br />However. the employee may, be assigned to alternative duties until such time as an investigation <br />is completed. <br />27.03 The Employer will provide and maintain safe vehicles for all employees required to use <br />vehicles for their assigned duties. I he vehicle status. \\ holier safe or unsal-e. \N ill he determined <br />by the Service Director or his designee. <br />27.01 Employees shall be required to keep the interior of vehicles clean and clear of objects <br />such as: tools, lunch wrappers, cans, and bottles. Debris such as: lunch wrappers. cans and <br />bottles shall he removed and properly disposed of by the end of each shift. <br />27.05 Employees involved in an accident involving an 1_ mployer vehicle. equipment or other <br />property shall notify their supervisor as soon as possible, 'file employee shall complete a police <br />report and all other report forms required by the employer. <br />27.06 There shall be a Labor Management ('onimittee established, consisting of three (3) <br />persons from the union and three (3) persons from management. Meetings will be held quarterly <br />or as needed by mutual agreement of the parties to promote a drug free workplace and/or other <br />SUN of mutual interest to the parties. Meetings shall be held during the last thirty (30) <br />minutes ofthe shift. <br />27.07 The Employer will provide to all bargaining unit employees a I lepatitis 13 Shot Program <br />if it is requested. <br />ARTICLE 28 TEMPORARY WORK LOAD (TWL) <br />2 8. 01 hhe Lmplover and the Union shall attempt through agreement to place partially disabled <br />employees on light -work jobs which are available or become available during the term of their <br />disability, and which they are qualified to perform. <br />
