twenty (120) hours per each year of this agreement and can be cashed in at any time throughout <br />the year. <br />6.02 Each employee shall have the right to convert overtime hours into compensatory time <br />with the approval of the Police Chief or his designee on a dollar -for -dollar basis. Ianployees <br />shall be paid for all compensatory time accumulated in excess of four hundred eighty hours (480) <br />on the neat scheduled pay. <br />Employees may have the right to take compensatory time when the time off docs not <br />interfere with the operation of the Police Department. The taking off of such compensatory time <br />shall be subject to the approval of the Police Chief or his designee. Overtime shall be converted <br />to compensatory time at the current rate of pay plus longevity on a dollar for dollar basis. <br />An Employee or his estate shall he paid for unused, accumulated compensatory time at <br />the time of separation at a Basic I lourly Rate of Pay for his workweek plus longevity if <br />applicable. <br />Compensatory time shall be taken in a one ( I ) hour minimum block and thereafter % 1101,11- <br />increments, <br />ourincrements, except at the start or end ofa shift. Iialf (!:2) hour increments may be used at the start <br />or end of shift. <br />6.03 Any employee who qualifies for overtime by virtue of the provisions of Section 1 hereof <br />shall be paid a minimum of two (2) hours when required to report for extra duty over and above <br />his regular work day and work week. Such an employee shall also be paid a minimum of two (2) <br />hours for appearance at the Rocky River Municipal Court. A minimum of four (4) hours for <br />appearance at the Grand .fury, Common Pleas Court or Juvenile Court when the same are <br />required, and are also at a time other than the employee's regular work tour. The compensation <br />for the aforesaid hours will be at time and one-half (1 iz). <br />6.04 The second full pay period in January, April. July and October of each year of this <br />agreement, each employee shall be paid for all overtime hours accumulated in excess ofone <br />hundred twenty (120) hours for the three (3) calendar month period prior to the second full pay <br />period in January, April, July, and October of each year of this agreement. Any payment as set <br />forth above shall be paid at the rate of pay applicable to each employee according to his <br />classification, and payments shall include longevity earned. <br />6.05 At the E'mployee's choice, any employee being changed in rank shall choose to either be <br />paid for all overtime, compensatory time in excess of one hundred twenty (120) hours at the <br />applicable rate of pay, or have their total number of hours converted to reflect their change in <br />rank. After conversion. anything in excess of one hundred twenty, (120) hours shall then be paid <br />at the new applicable rate of pay. Payment shall be made within a two week period following <br />their appointment to the change in rank position or official swearin(� in, whichever is applicable. <br />6.06 An employee who is ordered or called out to report in person for duty within one and <br />one-half (I !%) hours ofcompletion of'a normally scheduled shift. shall have the time between <br />
