Special Council Minutes of 12-22-2020 <br />Yes: Glassburn, Schumann, Brossard, Hemann, Kelly, Williamson, Limpert <br />No: None <br />Motion carried. Resolution 2020-146 adopted 7-0. <br />Resolution 2020-147 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor to purchase two (2) 2021 Ford Explorer Police <br />Interceptor vehicles at a cost of $65,508.00 through the State Purchase Program; and <br />further authorizing the Mayor to execute all contract documents. <br />Resolution 2020-148 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a one year contract with TAC Computer <br />Inc. in order to provide maintenance and repair services to computer hardware and <br />software in the North Olmsted Police Department, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance 2020-149 introduced by Council President Jones on behalf of herself and all of <br />Council was given its second reading. An Ordinance to revise the Codified Ordinances by <br />adopting current replacement pages; and declaring an emergency. Councilman Glassburn <br />moved to suspend the rule requiring three readings as this has been discussed for <br />suspension twice and it is in the public welfare, safety and all interests that our citizens <br />know what the rules and laws of the city are in a timely fashion. The motion was <br />seconded by Councilwoman Hemann and passed unanimously. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Glassburn, Hemann, Limpert, Kelly, Schumann, Brossard, Williamson <br />No: None <br />Motion carried. <br />Councilman Glassburn moved for adoption. Ordinance 2020-149 adopted 7-0. <br />Resolution 2020-150 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A <br />Resolution authorizing and affirming the Mayor's acceptance of a scoreboard for the <br />Recreation Center Ice Rink offered by the North Olmsted Hockey Club and further <br />authorizing the North Olmsted Hockey Club exclusive advertising rights on the donated <br />scoreboard for a limited time as a means of fundraising for its programming. <br />Resolution 2020-151 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A <br />Resolution approving of and authorizing the Mayor to enter into a Collective Bargaining <br />Agreement with the Ohio Patrolmen's Benevolent Association for the City's Dispatcher <br />employees for the period January 1, 2021 through December 31, 2023, and declaring an <br />emergency, as amended. Councilman Schumann moved to suspend the rules requiring <br />three readings as this was heard in committee and there are certainly timing issues <br />13 <br />
