Council Minutes of 6-15-2021 • The main topic of discussion was the recent string of dog attacks that took place at or near 2811 Clague Road between the dates of May 13-17, 2021. Much of the discussion centered on attempting to bring clarity to the administration's handling of the attacks as well as the chain of command if you will that was put in place by the administration. The overriding sentiment among the majority who had questions or concerns was the current whereabouts of the dogs. No one could really say with any certainty as to the whereabouts. The other overriding sentiment was why did the City allow these five dogs to be returned to the owner or possible owners after the first attack when they had the option of immediate removal from the dwelling. The committee also attempted to clarify the relationship between the Animal Control Officer and the shared services with North Olmsted and his primary employer, Bay Village. • Also discussed were three liquor permits. The first was permit number 11240120025, which is a transfer from CEC Entertainment Incorporated DBA as Chuck E. Cheese located at 26104 Great Northern Shopping Center to CEC Entertainment, LLC also DBA as Chuck E. Cheese located at the same address. There were no objections by the Police Department. Councilman Brossard moved to not object to liquor permit 11240120025. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Williamson and passed unanimously. Roll Call: Yes: Brossard, Williamson. Limpert, Hemann, Glassburn, Kelly No: None Motion carried. Liquor permit 11240120025 not objected to 6-0. • The next permit was number 0790591, which is a transfer from Suet Chun Shek DBA as Foo Sing Restaurant located at 25102 Brookpark Rd., Suite 130 to Lees Seafood Boil North Olmsted LLC also DBA as Lees Seafood Boil located at the 23462 Lorain Road. There were no objections by the Police Department. Councilman Brossard moved to not object to liquor permit 0790591. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Williamson and passed unanimously. Roll Call: Yes: Brossard, Williamson, Glassburn, Limpert, Kelly, Hemann No: None Motion carried. Liquor permit 0790591 not objected to 6-0. • The final permit was a new permit number 6315483 Nails A Holic LLC DBA Nails A Holic located at 5082 Great Northern Plaza South. There was no objection by the Police Department. Councilman Brossard moved to not object to liquor permit 6315483. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Williamson and passed unanimously.
