Council Minutes of 6-15-2021 <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Williamson, Limpert, Brossard, Glassburn, Hemann, Kelly <br />No: None <br />Motion carried. CMS 21-18287 approved 6-0. <br />Councilman Brossard Vice Chairman of the Finance Committee: <br />The Finance Committee met on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at 7:11 p.m. Present were <br />committee members Brossard and Kelly; Council members Glassburn, Hemann, Limpert <br />and Williamson; Council President Jones; Mayor Kennedy, Director of Finance Copfer, <br />Director of Human Resources Gallo, Director of Law Gareau, Director of Planning & <br />Community Development Lieber and guests. <br />• Discussed was Resolution 2021-40. A Resolution adopting the Alternative Tax <br />Budget of the City of North Olmsted for the fiscal year beginning January 1, <br />2022, and submitting the same to the Cuyahoga County Fiscal Officer and its <br />Budget Commission, and declaring an emergency. This is something the City <br />does each year and it needs to be passed by July 15th. It is required by the County <br />to show the ability to levy property tax as well as to ensure debt service is met and <br />covered. The committee voted 2-0 to recommend to Council as amended. <br />Councilman Limpert asked to give an update on Landmarks. The Landmarks <br />Commission met on June 14th and one of the items on the agenda was to move forward <br />with seeking a designation landmark for Springvale. If anyone has any historic photos or <br />information they would want to add for the report, they can send those to the Director of <br />Planning & Community Development. <br />Councilman Glassburn Chairman of the Intra -Governmental Relations Committee: <br />The Intra -Governmental Relations Committee met on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at 7:16 <br />p.m. Present were committee members Glassburn and Hemann; Council members <br />Brossard, Kelly, Limpert and Williamson; Council President Jones; Mayor Kennedy, <br />Director of Finance Copfer, Director of Human Resources Gallo, Director of Law <br />Gareau, Director of Planning & Community Development Lieber and guests. <br />• Discussed was Ordinance 2021-21 regarding the new electronic meeting code <br />section. The committee reviewed the changes discussed at the previous meeting <br />that were incorporated into a draft by the Department of Law. The draft was <br />acceptable and the committee voted 2-0 to recommend to Council as amended. <br />Councilman Glassburn moved to amend 2021-21 with the changes from the Department <br />of Law. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Hemann and passed unanimously. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Glassburn, Hemann, Limpert, Williamson, Kelly, Brossard <br />No: None <br />Motion carried.
