Council Minutes of 6-15-2021 Roll Call: Yes: Williamson, Limpert, Brossard, Glassburn, Hemann, Kelly No: None Motion carried. CMS 21-18287 approved 6-0. Councilman Brossard Vice Chairman of the Finance Committee: The Finance Committee met on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at 7:11 p.m. Present were committee members Brossard and Kelly; Council members Glassburn, Hemann, Limpert and Williamson; Council President Jones; Mayor Kennedy, Director of Finance Copfer, Director of Human Resources Gallo, Director of Law Gareau, Director of Planning & Community Development Lieber and guests. • Discussed was Resolution 2021-40. A Resolution adopting the Alternative Tax Budget of the City of North Olmsted for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 2022, and submitting the same to the Cuyahoga County Fiscal Officer and its Budget Commission, and declaring an emergency. This is something the City does each year and it needs to be passed by July 15th. It is required by the County to show the ability to levy property tax as well as to ensure debt service is met and covered. The committee voted 2-0 to recommend to Council as amended. Councilman Limpert asked to give an update on Landmarks. The Landmarks Commission met on June 14th and one of the items on the agenda was to move forward with seeking a designation landmark for Springvale. If anyone has any historic photos or information they would want to add for the report, they can send those to the Director of Planning & Community Development. Councilman Glassburn Chairman of the Intra -Governmental Relations Committee: The Intra -Governmental Relations Committee met on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at 7:16 p.m. Present were committee members Glassburn and Hemann; Council members Brossard, Kelly, Limpert and Williamson; Council President Jones; Mayor Kennedy, Director of Finance Copfer, Director of Human Resources Gallo, Director of Law Gareau, Director of Planning & Community Development Lieber and guests. • Discussed was Ordinance 2021-21 regarding the new electronic meeting code section. The committee reviewed the changes discussed at the previous meeting that were incorporated into a draft by the Department of Law. The draft was acceptable and the committee voted 2-0 to recommend to Council as amended. Councilman Glassburn moved to amend 2021-21 with the changes from the Department of Law.
