Council Minutes of 9-7-2021 <br />Motion carried. <br />Councilman Schumann moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman <br />Brossard and passed unanimously. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Schumann, Brossard, Hemann, Kelly, Williamson, Glassburn <br />No: None <br />Motion carried. Ordinance 2021-49 adopted 6-0. <br />Ordinance 2021-50 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An <br />Ordinance authorizing the Mayor to make a limited duration, interim appointment from <br />the current staffing complement to vacancies in the position of Director of Public Safety <br />and Director of Public Service, and declaring an emergency, as amended. Councilman <br />Schumann moved to suspend the rules requiring three readings as this was heard in <br />committee and there is some urgency involved. An <br />Ordinance authorizing the Mayor to purchase one ambulance rescue squad for the North <br />Olmsted Fire Department through the State Purchase Program from Horton Emergency <br />Vehicles for a price of $353,431.00 and further authorizing the Mayor to execute all <br />contract documents, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Brossard moved to <br />suspend the rule requiring three readings as this was heard in committee and it's an issue <br />of timing.
