Council Minutes of 9-7-2021 Motion carried. Councilman Schumann moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Brossard and passed unanimously. Roll Call: Yes: Schumann, Brossard, Hemann, Kelly, Williamson, Glassburn No: None Motion carried. Ordinance 2021-49 adopted 6-0. Ordinance 2021-50 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An Ordinance authorizing the Mayor to make a limited duration, interim appointment from the current staffing complement to vacancies in the position of Director of Public Safety and Director of Public Service, and declaring an emergency, as amended. Councilman Schumann moved to suspend the rules requiring three readings as this was heard in committee and there is some urgency involved. An Ordinance authorizing the Mayor to purchase one ambulance rescue squad for the North Olmsted Fire Department through the State Purchase Program from Horton Emergency Vehicles for a price of $353,431.00 and further authorizing the Mayor to execute all contract documents, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Brossard moved to suspend the rule requiring three readings as this was heard in committee and it's an issue of timing.
