Council Minutes of 12-07-2021 The Public Safety, Health & Welfare committee met on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at 7:40 p.m. Present were committee members Brossard and Limpert; Council members Glassburn; Director of Finance Copfer and guests. • Discussed was a new Liquor Permit number 7148181 for RRT LLC DBA Cilantro Taqueria located at 24950 Lorain Road. The Police Department had no objections. The committee voted 2-0 to not object. Councilman Brossard moved to not object to Liquor Permit 7148181 RRT LLC DBA Cilantro Taqueria located at 24950 Lorain Road. The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert and passed unanimously. Roll Call: Yes: Brossard, Limpert, Hemann, Glassburn No: None Motion carried. Liquor permit 7148181 RRT LLC not objected to 4-0. • Discussed next was a transfer for Liquor Permit number 23792550250 Dunne Manning Stores LLC DBA BP Unimart 258 to Liquor Permit number 8219560 Sky Stone Gas Inc DBA BP Unimart 258 located at 25295 Lorain Road. The Police Department had no objections. The committee voted 2-0 to not object. Councilman Limpert Vice Chairman of the Building, Zoning & Development Committee: The Building, Zoning & Development Committee met on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at 7:15 p.m. Present were committee members Limpert and Schumann; Council members Brossard, Glassburn and Hemann; Council President Jones; Director of Law Gareau and Director of Planning & Community Development Lieber. • Discussed first was Resolution 2021-74. A Resolution dispensing with a formal RFP process and authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with Richard L. Bowen & Associates, Inc. to provide engineering consulting services to the City of North Olmsted, and declaring an emergency. Director Lieber noted the contract has been three years in the past. President of Council Jones said as Mayor -elect she supported the one year contract to allow current and pending projects to be completed and to evaluate future RFP's. There was a 4% increase due to the contract being static for the past three years. The fee rate has not increased over 3
