Council Minutes of 06-07-2022 <br />County Fiscal Officer and its Budget Commission. Motion to recommend passed 3-0 and <br />the meeting concluded at 8'.19 p.m. <br />Councilman Kelly, Chairman of the Streets and Transportation Committee: <br />The Streets and Transportation Committee on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at 7.21 p.m. Present <br />were Committee Members Kelly, Glassburn and Gilchrist and Council Members Williamson, <br />Hemann, Limpert and Scarl, Council President Brossard, Mayor Jones, Law Director Gareau, <br />Finance Director Copier. Human Resources Director Kidd, Director of Economic and <br />Community Development Upton, Safety Director Scofield, Service Director Kearney, Special <br />Assistant to the Mayor Massarolo and guests. <br />Discussed Resolution 2022-44 authorizing the Director of Economic and Community <br />Development to request Statements of Qualifications (RFQ) from qualified professionals <br />to provide services required for the formation of a Transportation for Livable <br />Communities Initiatives (TLCI) Plan, and further authorizing the Mayor, following <br />approval by the Board of Control, to enter into a contract with the firm selected in the <br />RFQ process. The TLCI study is a plan for Lorain Road from the east border to the west <br />border and will be funded internally by TIF funds. A motion to recommend was made <br />and passed 3-0 and Committee Meeting concluded at 7.35 p.m. <br />Councilman Scarl, Chairman of the Environmental Control Committee did not have a report but <br />asked for a moment of personal privilege to state the following. "Mr. President and Council, <br />pursuant to Council Rule 45, 1 am providing notice of my intention to relieve the Public Safety, <br />Health and Welfare Committee of Resolution 2022-55 related to the Chagrin Valley Dispatch at <br />our regularly scheduled Council Meeting on June 21, 2022. thank you'. <br />AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION <br />Becky Woodward <br />North Olmsted Dispatcher <br />6804 Plainfield, Cleveland <br />Thanked everyone for the support. Conveyed her opinion on the responsibilities of Council and <br />advised on her findings on O.R.C. 128.571 (PSAPs) and H . 445. She feels more time could <br />have been spent making this decision and does not feel regional dispatch should be moved to <br />the Eastside. <br />Jeff Sturgeon <br />3092 W. 231" Street <br />Asked Mayor about W. 231 Grant. The Mayor responded that the City did receive the Grant <br />funding for W. 231"the bids were received and passed through the Board of Control. Further <br />stated the project would start immediately in order to be completed by September 301M1. Mr. <br />Sturgeon was pleased about the Oxcart Pantry food giveaway. <br />Shawn Pitell <br />4512 Ranchview Avenue <br />Express his frustration with the ongoing issue with the noise at Ganley. They have scheduled <br />deliveries all night long every weeknight. Requested something be done so that he does not <br />
