Council Minutes of 06-07-2022 have to bother the Police all the time and can get some sleep. The Mayor stated the Administration will look into and get back to Mr. Pitell. Councilman Glassburn moved to Amend Ordinance 2022-50 to include the item concerning W. 231' and was seconded by Councilman Limpert. Roll Call. Yes: Glassburn, Limpert, Scarl, Kelly, Hemann, Gilchrist, Williamson No: None Motion to Amend Ordinance 2022-50 passed 7-0. LEGISLATION Ordinance 2022-42 introduced by Mayor Jones, Councilwoman Williamson, Councilman Limpert, Councilwoman Hemann. Councilman Glassburn, Councilman Kelly and Councilman Scarl was given its third reading. An Ordinance opting out of House Bill 172 (H. B. 172) and banning the discharge, ignition or explosion of fireworks in the City of North Olmsted, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Glassburn moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Williamson and passed 7-0. Roll Call. Yes: Glassburn, Williamson, Limpert, Scarl, Kelly, Gilchrist, Hemann No None Motion carried. Ordinance 2022-42 adopted 7-0. Ordinance 2022-43 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its third reading. An Ordinance authorizing the Mayor, on behalf of the City of North Olmsted, to accept an Energized Community Grant from the Northeast Ohio Public Energy Council ("NOPEC) in the amount of $82,505.00 for 2022, and further authorizing the Mayor to enter into a Grant Agreement with NOPEC, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Glassburn moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert and passed 7-0. Roll Call Yes: Glassburn, Limpert, Kelly, Hemann, Gilchrist, Scarl, Williamson No: None Motion carried. Ordinance 2022-43 adopted 7-0. Resolution 2022-45 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its third reading. A Resolution introduced authorizing the Mayor to advertise for bids for the award of a contract to install diesel exhaust system improvements at Fire Stations 1 & 2 for the City of North Olmsted, as detailed in the specifications on file with the Service Department, and further authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, to contract for the same with the lowest and best bidder, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Glassburn moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Kelly and passed 7-0. Roll Call Yes: Glassburn, Kelly, Hemann, Gilchrist. Limpert, Williamson, Scarl No: None Motion carried. Resolution 2022-45 adopted 7-0.
