Council Minutes of 06-21-2022 <br />Roll Call. <br />Yes: Williamson, Kelly, Gilchrist, Glassburn, Hemann, Limpert, Scarl <br />No None <br />Liquor License Permit #4162501. Italian Restaurant Group LLC, DBA Romanos <br />Macaroni Grill, not objected to by a vote of 7-0. <br />Lastly discussed in Committee was Resolution 2022-55 - Chagrin Valley Dispatch, <br />stating this was the third meeting had with regard to this Legislation and that a more <br />detailed report would be given at a later date. Committee Meeting concluded at 8.47 <br />p m. <br />Councilman Limpert, Chairman of the Building, Zoning and Development Committee: <br />The Building, Zoning and Development Committee met on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at 6.45 p.m. <br />p.m. Present were Committee Members Limpert, Williamson and Hemann and Council <br />Members Glassburn, Kelly, Gilchrist and Scarl. Mayor Jones, Law Director Gareau, Finance <br />Director Copfer, Human Resources Director Kidd, Director of Economic and Community <br />Development Upton and guests. <br />• Discussed Ordinance 2022-57 An Ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into a <br />Community Reinvestment Area (C. R. A.) agreement with Fieldstone Developers, Inc. and <br />31351 Industrial Parkway, LLC. for the construction of a warehouse / office complex in <br />the City of North Olmsted. Director Upton noted that the North Olmsted Schools did not <br />have opposition to the abatement as no taxes were being collected from the property. <br />The development will contain two different buildings one on each parcel of land, and the <br />motion passed 3-0 and the Committee Meeting concluded at 7.03 p.m. <br />AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION <br />Mark Madden <br />North Olmsted Dispatcher <br />4530 Selhurst Road <br />Mr. Madden is a 47 -year resident of North Olmsted and also a dispatcher of 27 years. Wanted <br />to let Council know that the dispatchers realize that regionalization is in the future but does not <br />feel that it needs to be rushed. Would like the Mayor and Council to come up with a Westside <br />option. <br />Sharon Jeziorski <br />30110 Ginger Court <br />Former dispatcher who feels moving the dispatch center is a very bad call, and feels the <br />majority of the residents would feel the same way. Discussed statewide equipment that she <br />feels is not necessary. Ms. Jeziorski also asked who would be doing the work the dispatchers <br />do at the police station once they are no longer there, such as searching prisoners, etc. Feels <br />an Eastside dispatch center is not the solution. <br />Alejandro Chock <br />24677 Randall Drive <br />Concerned about the logic and timing behind this decision. Feels that the City has not flushed <br />out all options to be sure we are making the best decision for the residents of the City. He <br />stated he understands the need for regionalization, however, he feels the Administration needs <br />
