Council Minutes of 06-21-2022 <br />Ordinance 2022-52 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its third reading. An Ordinance <br />authorizing the Mayor, on behalf of the City of North Olmsted, to enter into an agreement with <br />the Ohio Deferred Compensation Board to enable City Employees optional participation in and <br />contributions to Roth 457(b) Retirement Savings Accounts, and declaring an emergency. <br />Councilman Glassburn moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert <br />and passed 7-0. <br />Roll Call. <br />Yes. Glassburn, Limpert, Williamson, Scarl, Gilchrist., Kelly, Hemann <br />No None <br />Motion carried. Ordinance 2022-52 adopted 7-0. <br />Councilman Limpert voted yes with comment. Thanked the Finance Director for pursuing <br />another opportunity for employees to invest and thanked the Administration to ensure <br />employees know how this new retirement product works. <br />Resolution 2022-53 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its third reading. A Resolution <br />authorizing the Communications Manager to request proposals ("RFP") for Website Design <br />Services and further authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract for said professional services <br />with the vendor selected in the RFP process, subject to approval by the Board of Control. <br />Councilman Glassburn moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert <br />and passed 7-0. <br />Roll Call. <br />Yes: Glassburn, Limpert, Scan, Williamson, Hemann, Gilchrist, Kelly <br />No: None <br />Motion carried. Resolution 2022-53 adopted 7-0. <br />Resolution 2022-54 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its third reading. A Resolution <br />adopting the alternative tax budget of the City of North Olmsted for the fiscal year beginning <br />January 1, 2023, and submitting the same to the Cuyahoga County Fiscal Officer and its Budget <br />Commission, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Glassburn moved for adoption. The <br />motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert and passed 7-0. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Glassburn, Limpert, Kelly, Hemann. Gilchrist, Williamson, Scarl <br />No: None <br />Motion carried. Resolution 2022-54 adopted 7-0. <br />Resolution 2022-19 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its second reading. A Resolution <br />authorizing the Mayor to enter into a memorandum of understanding with the North Olmsted <br />City School District to establish policies and procedures governing the School Resource Officer <br />(S. R.O.) Program, A and declaring an emergency, as Amended. Councilwoman Williamson <br />moved to suspend the rules requiring three readings. The motion was seconded by Councilman <br />Kelly and passed 6-0, with one abstention. <br />Roll Call <br />Yes: Williamson, Kelly, Limpert, Scarl. Hemann, Gilchrist <br />No: None <br />
