Council Minutes of 06-21-2022 Ordinance 2022-52 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its third reading. An Ordinance authorizing the Mayor, on behalf of the City of North Olmsted, to enter into an agreement with the Ohio Deferred Compensation Board to enable City Employees optional participation in and contributions to Roth 457(b) Retirement Savings Accounts, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Glassburn moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert and passed 7-0. Roll Call. Yes. Glassburn, Limpert, Williamson, Scarl, Gilchrist., Kelly, Hemann No None Motion carried. Ordinance 2022-52 adopted 7-0. Councilman Limpert voted yes with comment. Thanked the Finance Director for pursuing another opportunity for employees to invest and thanked the Administration to ensure employees know how this new retirement product works. Resolution 2022-53 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its third reading. A Resolution authorizing the Communications Manager to request proposals ("RFP") for Website Design Services and further authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract for said professional services with the vendor selected in the RFP process, subject to approval by the Board of Control. Councilman Glassburn moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert and passed 7-0. Roll Call. Yes: Glassburn, Limpert, Scan, Williamson, Hemann, Gilchrist, Kelly No: None Motion carried. Resolution 2022-53 adopted 7-0. Resolution 2022-54 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its third reading. A Resolution adopting the alternative tax budget of the City of North Olmsted for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 2023, and submitting the same to the Cuyahoga County Fiscal Officer and its Budget Commission, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Glassburn moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert and passed 7-0. Roll Call: Yes: Glassburn, Limpert, Kelly, Hemann. Gilchrist, Williamson, Scarl No: None Motion carried. Resolution 2022-54 adopted 7-0. Resolution 2022-19 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its second reading. A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a memorandum of understanding with the North Olmsted City School District to establish policies and procedures governing the School Resource Officer (S. R.O.) Program, A and declaring an emergency, as Amended. Councilwoman Williamson moved to suspend the rules requiring three readings. The motion was seconded by Councilman Kelly and passed 6-0, with one abstention. Roll Call Yes: Williamson, Kelly, Limpert, Scarl. Hemann, Gilchrist No: None
