Council Minutes of 02-15-2022 <br />Sturgeon also asked if the City received a grant from the County for the work on W. 231", <br />wherein the Mayor responded that the City has not yet been notified. Mr. Sturgeon also asked <br />about possibly widening the road. Director Upton noted that the project has not yet be fully <br />designed and it can be changed, and also provided some background into the grant process. <br />Mr. Sturgeon likes the legislation to allow the Mayor to call for a parking snow ban. Feels the <br />parking ordinance should be changed in the future with regard to no curb parking. Director <br />Gareau asked if the City could get feedback from ODOT with regard to Fairview Park restricting <br />one-way traffic on the 227 overpass.. as it forces the traffic to go down Clague Road. <br />LEGISLATION <br />Resolution 2022-9 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its third reading. A Resolution <br />authorizing the City Engineer to advertise for bids for the award of a contract to provide asphalt <br />resurfacing and related repairs upon city streets, as detailed in the specifications on file in the <br />Division of Engineering, and further authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the Board of <br />Control, to contract for the same with the lowest and best bidder. Councilman Kelly moved for <br />adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert and passed 7-0. <br />Roll Call. <br />Yes: Kelly, Limpert, Williamson, Gilchrist, Scarl, Glassburn, Hemann <br />No None <br />Motion carried.
