ILLAGE of VALLEY VIEW <br />OFFICE OF THE POLICE CHIEF <br />June 21, 3021_ <br />RE: Chagrin Valley Dispatch <br />Io W horn It May Concem, <br />The Valley View Police Department moved from the Cuyahoga Heights Dispatch to the <br />Chagrin Valley Dispatch (CAD) in June of 21119. t he change has been extremely positive for <br />my DepartmenL and I have not tIng but praise for hick DiCicco and his staff. Our transition day <br />also included a change of our RMS from Sundance Systems back to TAG and CVD made the <br />cut ire process seamless. We utilize all of the a%aiIahIe technology, and my oIII cer, interact with <br />the dispatchers through their MD I s ravine airtime and duplicate work l'hev also utilize the <br />automatic vehicle locator (AVI.) and electronic traffic citations to increase safety and efficicncN <br />('.VD installed a door answering EN tem on our Police and Fire Stations, which allows the <br />dispatchers to have video and audio contact with a visitor, and to also rein otdy unlock the door <br />in case of emergency. <br />During our time with CVD. we have experienced several major incidents, and their staff and <br />technology have performed bevond all expectations.
