<br />Councilwoman Williamson. Chairwoman of the Public Safety, Health and Welfare Committee:
<br />The Public Safety, Health and Welfare Committee met on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at 7:00
<br />p.m. Present were Committee Members Williamson. Kelly and Glassburn and Council Members
<br />Hemann, Limpert, Gilchrist and Scarl. Council President Brossard, Mayor Jones, Law Director
<br />Gareau, Finance Director Copfer, Human Resources Director Kidd, Director of Economic and
<br />Community Development Upton, Safety Director Scofield, Service Director Kearney and guests.
<br />• Discussed Liquor Permit #22625050050, DoorDash Essentials LLC, there were no
<br />concerns from the Police Department and the Committee voted to not object by a vote of
<br />3-0 and the Committee Meeting concluded at 7.01 p.m.
<br />Councilwoman Williamson moved to not object to Liquor License Permit #22625050050,
<br />DoorDash Essentials LLC, DBA Dashmart. 23100 Lorain Road, North Olmsted OH 44070 and
<br />was seconded by Councilman Kelly.

<br />The Building, Zoning and Development Committee met on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at 710
<br />p.m. Present were Committee Members Limpert, Williamson and Hamann and Council
<br />Members Glassburn, Kelly and Gilchrist, Council President Brossard, Mayor Jones, Law
<br />Director Gareau, Finance Director Copfer and guests.
<br />• Discussed CMS 22-21355 Ashley Home Store. The proposal consists of a
<br />conditional use permit. The property is zoned B-4 Mixed Use. Ashley Home Store is
<br />expanding from a 12,000 SF facility on Great Northern Boulevard to a 42,000 SF store
<br />that was once formerly the Babies 'R Us. The application for the conditional use was
<br />reviewed under Section 1118.06 General Standards of Review. The motion passed by a
<br />vote of 3-0.
<br />A motion to recommend CMS 22-21355 Ashley Home Store, 26520 Lorain Road was made by
<br />Councilman Limpert and seconded by Councilwoman Williamson.

<br />and Scarl, Council President Brossard, Mayor Jones, Law Director Gareau, Finance Director
<br />Copfer, Human Resources Director Kidd, Director of Economic and Community Development
<br />Upton, Safety Director Scofield, Service Director Kearney and guests.
<br />Discussed was Ordinance 2022-17. An Ordinance to make appropriations for current
<br />expenses and other expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending
<br />
