Special Council Minutes of 03-29-2022 <br />Director Gareau, Human Resources Director Kidd, Safety Director Scofield. Service Director <br />Kearney and guests. <br />Discussed Resolution 2022-24. A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to purchase two (2) <br />new Toro Greensmaster Triflex 3300 Hydraulic Mowers from Jerry Pate Turf & Irrigation <br />at a cost of $105,332.82 through the State Purchase Program, and further authorizing <br />the Mayor to execute all contract documents, and declaring an emergency. <br />Councilwoman Hamann noted several pieces of new equipment were purchased in <br />2020, but none had been purchased since 2016. The Committee favorably <br />recommended the legislation 3-0 and the Committee Meeting concluded at 7:11 p.m. <br />None. <br />AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION <br />None <br />LEGISLATION <br />Ordinance 2022-18 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its third reading. An Ordinance to <br />make appropriations for capital improvements for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending <br />December 31, 2022. Councilman Glassburn moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Limpert and passed 6-0. <br />Roll Call <br />Yes: Glassburn, Limpert, Kelly, Gilchrist, Williamson <br />No: Hamann <br />Motion Carried. Ordinance 2022-18 adopted 5-1. <br />Mr. Glassburn moved to suspend the time in which a vote can be changed. The motion was <br />seconded by Councilwoman Williamson and passed 6-0 <br />Roll Call. <br />Yes: Glassburn, Williamson, Gilchrist.. Hamann. Kelly, Limpert <br />No None <br />Motion Carried. Motion to Suspend the time which a vote can be changed passed 6-0. <br />Council President Brossard recognizing that Councilwoman Hemann requested and changed <br />her vote on Ordinance 2022-18 to a yes. Ordinance 2022-18 adopted 6-0. <br />Ordinance 2022-17 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its second reading. An Ordinance to <br />make appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for the City of North Olmsted <br />for the year ending December 31. 2022 and declaring an emergency, as Amended. Councilman <br />Glassburn moved to suspend the rules requiring three readings. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Limped and passed 5-1. <br />
