Zoning and Development Committee: <br />The Building, Zoning and Development Committee met on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at <br />8:00 p.m. Present were Committee Members Limpert and Williamson and Council Members <br />Glassburn, Kelly, Gilchrist and Scarl, Law Director Gareau, Finance Director Copfer, Human <br />Resources Director Kidd, Director of Economic and Community Development Upton, Safety <br />Director Scofield, Service Director Kearney, Recreation and Public Engagement Director <br />Pinchek, Special Assistant to the Mayor Massarolo and guests. <br />• Discussed CMS 22-22253 Fieldstone Developers 31351 Industrial Parkway Proposal <br />consists of new construction for a multi -tenant building. Property is zoned Limited <br />Industry -Industrial Park. The development will bring a significant amount of jobs to the <br />city. The committee favorably recommended by a vote of 2-0. <br />• Discussed CMS 22-22724 Brick City Vapors The property is zoned B-3 General <br />Business. The proposal consists of a conditional use. The committee favorably <br />recommended by a vote of 2-0. <br />• Discussed CMS 22-22887 Enterprise Rent-A-Car The property is zoned B-3 General <br />Business. The proposal consists of a conditional use. The committee favorably <br />recommended by a vote of 2-0. <br />• Discussed North Olmsted Landmarks Commission proposal that the City of North <br />Olmsted designate the Springvale Ballroom as an official local landmark, and the <br />Committee Meeting concluded at 8:27 p.m. <br />Councilman Limpert moved to recommend CMS 22-22253 Fieldstone Developers 31351 <br />Industrial Parkway with the amendment that development plans must be submitted by <br />Fieldstone Developers, and to accept and impose a recommendation by the Planning and <br />Design Commission for conditional approval of the same, and with the further conditions that the <br />amended development plans be submitted prior to the issuances of the permits by the <br />Engineering Department. Law Director Gareau interjected for clarification, that it is not a <br />conditional use permit, but conditions for the plan approval. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilwoman Williamson and passed 7-0. <br />Roll Call. <br />Yes.
