<br />Councilwoman Williamson moved to not object to Liquor Permit #22625050050 Doordash
<br />Essentials LLC, DBA Dashmart, West Unit, located at 23100 Lorain Road, North Olmsted OH
<br />44070. The motion was seconded by Councilman Kelly and passed 7-0.

<br />Liquor Permit #22625050050 Doordash Essentials LLC, DBA Dashmart, West Unit, located at
<br />23100 Lorain Road, North Olmsted OH 44070 not objected to by a vote of 7-0.
<br />Councilman Limpert, Chairman of the Building Zoning and Development Committee did not
<br />have a report but asked for a moment of person privilege to echo comments made by the
<br />Mayor. Councilman Limpert noted that having a young family in the City, the number of events
<br />that were held throughout the City was great, with Trunk or Treat, Trek at the Rec, Frostville
<br />Pumpkinville and the decoration contests between individual residents. He noted that at times
<br />we all get caught up in the busyness, and being that we are in a tough economy right nowthat
<br />it really is a tremendous time to have a family in the City right now. Mr. Limpert wanted to
<br />commend all those who participated in those events making it a wonderful fall.
<br />Councilwoman Hemann, Chairwoman of the Recreation, Public Parks and Buildings Committee:
<br />The Recreation, Public Parks and Buildings Committee met on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at
<br />7:02 p.m. Present were Committee Members Hamann and Limpert and Council Members
<br />Williamson, Glassburn, Kelly and Gilchrist, Mayor Jones, Human Resources Director Kidd,
<br />Service Director Kearney, WWTP Superintendent, City Engineer, Special Assistant to the Mayor
<br />Massarolo and guests.
<br />Discussed Resolution 2022-94. A Resolution authorizing the Director of Recreation &
<br />Public Engagement to solicit bids for the rental of golf carts and related vehicles for
<br />Springvale, and upon approval of the Board of Control, further authorizing the Mayor to
<br />enter into a contract with the lowest and best bidder, and declaring an emergency.
<br />Director Pinchek discussed the proposed lease agreement which will change from 75
<br />golf carts to 78 golf carts and a four-year lease, with an option for a fifth year. Currently
<br />the contract requires twice weekly maintenance with a 17% ratio of new carts per year.
<br />It was noted that the current vendor is having difficulty meeting the maintenance
<br />obligation, which makes it a necessity to go out to bid. The legislation was favorably
<br />recommended by a vote of 2-0 and Committee Meeting concluded at 7.05 p.m.
<br />Councilman Glassburn, Chairman of the Finance Committee:
<br />The Finance Committee met on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at 7:05 p.m. Present were
<br />Committee Members Glassburn, Williamson and Limpert and Council Members Hemann, Kelly
<br />and Gilchrist, Mayor Jones, Human Resources Director Kidd, Service Director Kearney,
<br />Recreation and Public Engagement Director Pinchek, Special Assistant to the Mayor Massarolo
<br />and guests.
<br />Discussed Ordinance 2022-93. An Ordinance establishing and fixing the compensation
<br />for Council -At -Large Members for the term of office commencing January 1, 2024,
<br />through December 31, 2027. The Committee discussed that the At -Large Council
<br />Members should match the increases of that of the Ward Council Members. The
<br />legislation was favorably recommended by a vote of 3-0 and Committee Meeting
<br />concluded at 7:07 p.m.
