Council Minutes of 04-18-2023 <br />voted 3-0 to favorably recommend the appointment of Ms. Lori Kershner to the Arts <br />Commission for the term of January 1, 2022 to December 31, 2025. <br />• The Mayor's next appointment to the Arts Commission was Ms. Nahid Parsipour. Again the <br />Committee welcomed and thanked Ms. Parsipour for her time. The Committee voted 3-0 to <br />favorably recommend the appointment of Ms. Nahid Parsipour to the Arts Commission for the <br />term of January 1, 2022 to December 31, 2025. <br />Councilwoman Gilchrist moved to approve the appointment of Ms. Lori Kershner and Ms. Nahid <br />Parsipour to the Arts Commission for the term of January 1, 2022 to December 31, 2025. The motion <br />was seconded by Councilwoman Hemann and passed 7-0. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Gilchrist, Hemann, Glassburn, Limpert, Madden, Scan, Williamson <br />No: None <br />Motion carried. <br />• The Mayors next appointment was Mr. Jose Leon to the Planning and Design Commission, <br />whom the Committed welcomed and thanked for offering his time and talent to the PDC <br />Commission. The Committee voted 3-0 to favorably recommend the appointment of Mr. Jose <br />Leon to the Planning and Design Commission for the term of January 1, 2022 to December 31, <br />2026. <br />Councilwoman Gilchrist moved to approve the appointment of Mr. lose Leon to the Planning and Design <br />Commission for the term of January 1, 2022 to December 31, 2026. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilwoman Hemann and passed 7-0. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Gilchrist, Hemann, Glassburn, Williamson, Scarl, Limpert, Madden <br />No: None <br />Motion carried. <br />• Lastly the Intra -Governmental Committee reviewed the Board of Election's Precinct Map. Mr. <br />Glassburn summarized what transpired with the precinct map and how the new map is more <br />aligned to the ward boundaries, causing less confusion for the residents. The Committee voted <br />3-0 to not object to the precinct map as proposed by the Board of Elections and the Committee <br />Meeting concluded at 7:37 p.m. <br />Councilwoman Gilchrist moved to not object to the Board of Elections Precinct Map. The motion was <br />seconded by Councilwoman Hemann and passed 7-0. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Gilchrist, Hemann, Williamson, Madden, Limpert, Scarl, Glassburn <br />No: None <br />Motion carried. <br />COMMUNICATIONS <br />None. <br />Mr. Carey Peeples <br />4673 Lansing Drive <br />Mr. Peeples came to address the issue of water line replacements.
